Some of the best curry I’ve had. We ordered the tikka masala, curry-se masala, chicken samosas, and gulab jamun for dessert. The flavours were fresh, while the tikka masala wasn’t the traditional style, it was still absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly succulent, the samosas were TOP (don’t forget to order), and the host was incredibly kind and attentive. Highly recommended

had an amazing experience at Curry! II cane from Canada I ordered the Chana Punjabi, roti, and salad — everything was delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. The food quality was outstanding, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite. ✨Owner Nature was very polite and friendly.

Excellent little hole in the wall Indian place, with just 3 tables on the sidewalk (expandable to 3 more tables in the street car parking spot of the owner and chef Patty). Great personal service and recommendations by her. Delicious Mango and Passionfruit Lassi (with homemade yogurt), made to order Spice- level 6 (menu only has mild, moderate, and spicy) curry, as well as the daily special dessert Gulab Jamun (with flavors of dry rose petals, and cardamom seeds, along with dried pistachios)

This is a cute little restaurant in Copacabana. The owner is present at all times, and provides table service as well as the cooking in the kitchen. She isn’t much for conversation, but was nice enough to speak with us about where she learned to cook Indian food. The food itself was good – you can’t really expect pure authentic Indian food in a place as far removed as Brazil from the eastern hemisphere. In that sense, I give the owner kudos for making a great effort. Dining is strictly on the street as there is no space for a group to eat within the restaurant. Overall a great experience and recommended if you’re craving Indian food while in Rio.

Service was phenomenal and the ambiance was perfect on a Friday night. Food was really a miss for me. I loved the papaya salad (not sure if this is Indian?) but the chicken tikka flavor was odd. Not bad by any means, just not authentic or suited for an Indian palette.

This wonderful little restaurant has really great food. We dined in but they also have takeout options. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The samosas, the Goan fish curry, the Khichari and the masala tea were really great. There is a very nice subtle fusion of Brazilian with the predominantly Indian masala’s. A place we will dine at again for sure.

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and he’s an Indian guy, I am very use to Indian food and this place definitely nailed it. food very flavored and tasty, really really good! My reason to give them just 4 stars is because the portion is a bit small and there were few dishes not available and think this could be improved in the future.

The food was delicious and very authentic. The staff is also very friendly – and they speak English / have an English menu (which comes in quite handy in Rio). I highly recommend coming here.
