Lately their website doesn’t take orders and their phone number seems disconnected. Very frustrating. Drove there today to order in person, sign on door they’re closed. Then update your hours online, your communication sucks.
I just expect better out of businesses I choose to purchase from.
The butter chicken Kati roll was/is life! As well as the Chicken and rice. Gosh we miss you!
The poutine is such a great idea and their sauces are freaking delicious (if very rich). An order weighs around 2 pounds, so plan on leftovers. Or don’t. They heat over well though, especially if you air fry them. If you get them spicy, get some raita. Actually just get some raita regardless. It’s very fresh tasting and not as salty as you’ll find at most places.
The samosa chaat is worth the extra wait and maybe the best we’ve ever had. The samosa on their own have a bit too much caraway for my liking but mixed into the chickpeas, spices and sauces the balance is perfect. And too much caraway or no, at $2 each the samosa are a steal compared to most places these days. Which is true of all of their prices really.
Yeah they sell out of stuff regularly, keep odd hours based on employee availability, and some of their menu items take a while to make, but seriously. It’s so good. We’ve been to most Indian restaurants in the state and this place wins in value for money hands down, and the deliciousness rivals places that cost three times as much.
I got a wrap with all of these put in a pita bread.
It was nice if they made this clear before order was placed. Taste was very average , it’s hard to tell when you mix everything together.
The location lacks proper hygiene for a food outlet. There were boxes pilled up to the ceiling. Staff’s coats were hanging on the walls over uncovered pans of white rice. The floor was dirty and dusty. Environment showed a clear lack of interest for hygiene by owners.
What a pity, I had high hopes for this outlet.
