If you are looking for the best Indian restaurant in town, Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine is a must visit. This place truly serves authentic Indian food with rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced spices.

We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable biryani, and every dish was incredible. The curry was creamy and flavorful, the biryani was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the garlic naan was soft and fresh. You can taste the authenticity in every bite. This is real, traditional Indian cuisine done right.

The customer service was excellent. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and perfect for both family dinners and casual nights out.

Whether you are craving spicy curries, flavorful biryani, or freshly baked naan, Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine delivers high quality Indian food every time. Definitely one of the top Indian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend and will be coming back again.

Excellent Indian Restaurant

We had a really nice dinner at Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine and enjoyed the experience.

As soon as we walked in, Akshaya at the front desk welcomed us and helped us get a table. Neha took our order and did a great job taking care of us. Everyone we interacted with was polite, friendly, and quick with service.

We started with Chilly Idly, Lasuni Gobi, and Lucknowi Paneer Tikka and Mysore Masala Dosa.
All were tasty and well presented.

For the main course, we had Veg Biryani, Paneer Lababdar, and a Bread Basket. Everything tasted great, portions were generous, and the food felt fresh and well made. The Mango Juice was refreshing and really good.

The ambience is pleasant and welcoming. The real auto rickshaw display at the entrance is a nice touch, and the restrooms were very clean. Staff were neatly dressed in black uniforms with name badges, and service was fast and attentive.

Overall, the food, service, and pricing made it totally worth it.

We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in Tampa. We enjoyed our dinner here! ❤️

I had a great experience here. The food uses authentic South Indian spices, the place is very clean, and the ambiance is excellent. I landed in the Tampa. just a day ago and was honestly disappointed with the food I tried on my first day—this place completely changed that.

If you’re looking for genuinely authentic Indian food, you can trust this spot without hesitation. It truly delivers the taste, aroma, and presentation of real Indian cuisine.

For non-Indians craving Indian food, I strongly recommend coming here instead of places around Tampa that claim to serve the “best” Indian food. If you want to experience how Indian food actually looks and tastes, this is the place.

I sincerely hope the owner expands to more locations across the U.S. Wishing them great success.

We had a good experience at Curry Leaves!

The Paneer Lababdar (Indian spicy) was flavorful and well-balanced — definitely recommended. The Vegetable Biryani was a tad less flavorful than I expected and came with curd and pickle, which was a nice and unique touch.

The ambience was pleasant, making it a cozy spot for dinner. I’d suggest making a reservation, as it can get quite busy on Friday nights.

Hands down the best Indian buffet I’ve ever had! Everything was fresh and delicious. So many options from samosas to tandoori chicken, daal, paneer lababdar, chicken Salna, curry, and more. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options and meat. Super friendly and tentative staff, clean place. Just fabulous and very reasonably priced! My boyfriend has been telling me I need to try and it’s now our dedicated Indian spot!

Went to have dinner with friends last night not knowing what to expect and fell in love with this place, as soon as you walk in, the chic decor, cleanliness, upscale restaurant vibe make you feel welcome and ready for a great experience. We sat at the bar and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Ordered the chili mango margarita and coconut mojito, for our meal we ordered naan, tandoori chicken and Karahi chicken both came with rice, the flavors were insanely delicious. This restaurant is now one of my favorites for sure and I highly recommend. The crowds just kept coming in. They have separate private rooms for parties… there were actually some birthday celebrations happening. My understanding is that they also have a lunch buffet from 11-2pm and I would love to come back to try all types of food and flavors of this delicious cuisine. They also do catering for companies in the area. Again, the staff and the manager with their attentiveness and friendliness made the whole experience a great night. Buffet on Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. This restaurant is located in the West Shore Plaza, right across from Besito restaurant and AMC. The price referenced on my review includes drinks. Plenty of parking and is kids friendly.

After reading several positive reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant over the weekend for a nice family lunch, hoping to enjoy some authentic Indian flavors.

Right from the entrance, the place gives off a warm and welcoming feel. The ambiance is pleasant, and the decor includes a classic Indian tuk-tuk, which makes for a fun photo spot and adds to the overall Indian vibe. There’s also a dedicated bar area for those looking to enjoy a drink. Parking is abundant, so getting in was easy without any hassle.

For appetizers, we ordered the Calamari Cochin and the Dragon Shrimp. Both dishes arrived well-prepared with a good balance of spices. The Calamari Cochin especially stood out with its Kerala-style flavor profile. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made sure our requests were taken care of. Our kid ordered the Pop Goli soda for the nostalgic Indian touch—though it could’ve used a bit more fizz.

For the main course, we opted for the goat biryani. The portion size felt slightly on the smaller side, but the taste and spice level were on point. While it didn’t have a “wow” factor, it was a solid, flavorful biryani. The pricing felt reasonable, and the bill aligned well with the dishes we ordered. The menu offers a good variety of options, covering a wide range of Indian dishes. They also serve a buffet in the mornings—definitely available on weekends, not sure about weekdays.

Overall, we had a nice lunch experience and enjoyed trying a new spot with genuine Indian flavors. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for real, comforting Indian food.

The experience here is fantastic, especially for larger gatherings! The ambience is truly inviting, offering a spacious and comfortable setting that makes it an excellent choice for bigger groups. The food quality is genuinely good, making for a very enjoyable meal.
A friendly piece of advice for future diners: be sure to communicate your preferred spice level when ordering. The dishes are naturally quite mild, so if you’re looking for that extra kick, definitely inform your server so they can dial up the heat for you!
