We ordered the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable biryani, and every dish was incredible. The curry was creamy and flavorful, the biryani was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the garlic naan was soft and fresh. You can taste the authenticity in every bite. This is real, traditional Indian cuisine done right.
The customer service was excellent. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and perfect for both family dinners and casual nights out.
Whether you are craving spicy curries, flavorful biryani, or freshly baked naan, Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine delivers high quality Indian food every time. Definitely one of the top Indian restaurants in the area. Highly recommend and will be coming back again.
We had a really nice dinner at Curry Leaves Indian Cuisine and enjoyed the experience.
As soon as we walked in, Akshaya at the front desk welcomed us and helped us get a table. Neha took our order and did a great job taking care of us. Everyone we interacted with was polite, friendly, and quick with service.
We started with Chilly Idly, Lasuni Gobi, and Lucknowi Paneer Tikka and Mysore Masala Dosa.
All were tasty and well presented.
For the main course, we had Veg Biryani, Paneer Lababdar, and a Bread Basket. Everything tasted great, portions were generous, and the food felt fresh and well made. The Mango Juice was refreshing and really good.
The ambience is pleasant and welcoming. The real auto rickshaw display at the entrance is a nice touch, and the restrooms were very clean. Staff were neatly dressed in black uniforms with name badges, and service was fast and attentive.
Overall, the food, service, and pricing made it totally worth it.
We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in Tampa. We enjoyed our dinner here! ❤️
If you’re looking for genuinely authentic Indian food, you can trust this spot without hesitation. It truly delivers the taste, aroma, and presentation of real Indian cuisine.
For non-Indians craving Indian food, I strongly recommend coming here instead of places around Tampa that claim to serve the “best” Indian food. If you want to experience how Indian food actually looks and tastes, this is the place.
I sincerely hope the owner expands to more locations across the U.S. Wishing them great success.
The Paneer Lababdar (Indian spicy) was flavorful and well-balanced — definitely recommended. The Vegetable Biryani was a tad less flavorful than I expected and came with curd and pickle, which was a nice and unique touch.
The ambience was pleasant, making it a cozy spot for dinner. I’d suggest making a reservation, as it can get quite busy on Friday nights.

Right from the entrance, the place gives off a warm and welcoming feel. The ambiance is pleasant, and the decor includes a classic Indian tuk-tuk, which makes for a fun photo spot and adds to the overall Indian vibe. There’s also a dedicated bar area for those looking to enjoy a drink. Parking is abundant, so getting in was easy without any hassle.
For appetizers, we ordered the Calamari Cochin and the Dragon Shrimp. Both dishes arrived well-prepared with a good balance of spices. The Calamari Cochin especially stood out with its Kerala-style flavor profile. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made sure our requests were taken care of. Our kid ordered the Pop Goli soda for the nostalgic Indian touch—though it could’ve used a bit more fizz.
For the main course, we opted for the goat biryani. The portion size felt slightly on the smaller side, but the taste and spice level were on point. While it didn’t have a “wow” factor, it was a solid, flavorful biryani. The pricing felt reasonable, and the bill aligned well with the dishes we ordered. The menu offers a good variety of options, covering a wide range of Indian dishes. They also serve a buffet in the mornings—definitely available on weekends, not sure about weekdays.
Overall, we had a nice lunch experience and enjoyed trying a new spot with genuine Indian flavors. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for real, comforting Indian food.
We had the Marsala dosa, sev puri, chicken kandupur, chicken varutharachthu and the galub jamun cheesecake!
Best authentic Indian food in Tampa! Reminds me fondly of my mother’s cooking when I was younger..
Definitely recommend to check it out, they just moved into a beautiful brick and mortar space.
I’ve also heard Wonderful things about their lunch buffet!
A friendly piece of advice for future diners: be sure to communicate your preferred spice level when ordering. The dishes are naturally quite mild, so if you’re looking for that extra kick, definitely inform your server so they can dial up the heat for you!
