Opens at 7am. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Located just beside a 711. Ordered teh o limau ice and it was not too sweet, which was great as it did not taste too syrupy. Had the onion uttapam, which was soft and slightly crisp at the edges, topped with fresh raw onions that added a nice crunch and sweetness. The cheese prata was soft, buttery and filled with melted cheese that made it really comforting. The curry served on the side was spicy and full of flavour, a perfect match with the prata.

We also ordered the ayam maggi goreng, which was rich and flavourful. The noodles were great! Slightly spicy and fragrant, mixed with some vegetables. The chicken was tender though a little salty but I personally enjoyed the strong taste.

Highly recommend coming here. The place was clean and quiet when we visited. Total spent 22RM worth.

We had lunch at Curry Leaf Tanah Rata before heading home to KL. It is walking distance to our accommodation.

We ordered our drinks – the drinks are quite good, but a tad on the sweet side which is normal locally here in Malaysia.

My hubby took the nasi kandar (mixed dish + rice).
We wanted to order the tandoori but it was not ready until after 1pm, hence we ordered banana leaf rice.
After waiting for more than half an hour, and my hubby finished his mixed rice, only the set of banana leaf rice arrives.
What a big let down. Not only it is the same vegetable and meat from the nasi kandar, it is also cold!
Then what are we waiting for sitting there ending up with cold food? Somemore, it is a weekday, only one other guy eating nasi kandar, and us! Why take so long to scoop us some cold food?

The Indian restaurant tastes cater more for foreigner as we had sweet curries which is still okay for us.
What is not okay is — there’s lots of flies. These flies are annoying and one even dropped into our masala tea!

Imagine – looking at the fly struggling in the tea! OMG
Later that day, my kid had diarrhea and it has been ongoing for the past 4 days.
I’m sorry, but I will certainly not recommend anyone there.

Never expect it to be so good, after first try of supper due to other restaurants closed earlier at 10pm, we walked in Curry Leaf to try our luck, which close at 11.30pm.
Roti canai, roti telur, set meals n kottu parotta we ordered, the roti canai was so soft the texture..Next day early lunch time we drop by again, tried other dishes, briyani with sides gave us WoW, too good I will definitely come back again when I revisit Cameron Highland.

Totally a waste of money. I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. Usually at least one dish might be bad, but here every single item in the banana leaf meal was terrible. It was so bad that my whole table couldn’t even eat the food and we had to leave most of it untouched. Very disappointing.
And chicken dishes damn bad

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area, the prices are very good especially for noodle and rice dishes.
They have inside and outside seating available from 7am, making it incredibly convenient for breakfast or a fast snack before hiking in the area!

Only downside is the ayam here, it doesn’t have a lot of meat and just makes the food around it a bit hard to eat… But that’s the case in most indian restaurants in Malaysia.
Otherwise top service, which is fast and efficient!

It was ok, more non edible pieces than edible, not good quality meat. 2,5* is more accurate rate.

Our second meal here! Kerralan style food beautifully cooked and presented. Previously we ate the Banana Leaf Set which was perfect for a lunch with rice, curry sauce and veg. We added a mutton chukka as well. Perfect! Today for brunch, we enjoyed chicken Korthu Porata and a Uttapam. Great flavours, medium spice and fulsome. Highly recommended!

This was the best Indian food we had on our whole Malaysia trip. We both got the banana leaf and every aspect of it was kinda perfect. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You don’t want to miss this one!
