Went here on a date on a Tuesday night. The restaurant interior was very clean and quite nice. There were flowers on all the tables ❤️. It wasn’t too busy, definitely not one of those annoying loud restaurants that blast you with TV screens from all angles.
We ordered meat samosas and the veg+non-veg combo for two. It ended up being more food than we needed (probably could have fed 3 comfortably), but everything was delicious so we made sure not to waste anything and took a number of to-go boxes.
The veg+non-veg combo came with good portions of both vegetable and chicken pakora, two tandoori chicken pieces, 4 curries (saag paneer, chicken tiiki masala, korma, and lamb curry) plus a good portion of rice and 4 or 5 pieces of naan. It was all AMAZING .
My favorites were probably the saag paneer, lamb curry, and veg pakora, though it’s near impossible to choose because everything was top-notch. The samosas we got were also really good, but less quantity for the price compared to the combo.
One note on allergens: they were able to prepare the dishes without nuts when we asked them too, which was really nice (my girlfriend is allergic).
The waiter and waitress were both extremely kind and friendly – you could tel they were genuinely happy to share the bliss of excellent food with us. They also gave us a complimentary dessert (rice pudding) and two mango lassis, all for free, which was super kind! The rice pudding was richly spiced and really quite excellent – I definitely could taste cardamom and ginger in it.
I would definitely come again. 5 out of 5!
