I was looking forward to my curry. However, the order took two hours to get to me when I only live 5 mins away.
The food was cold when it did arriveI.
I started asking where my food was an hour after placing the order. I was still chasing it an hour after that.
Apparently they were busy and had only one driver working, so it would appear my food went round the town before getting to me.
There are no excuses for delivering cold food.

Ordered meals for delivery at 6.00pm on a Friday night , informed delivery time was 45 minutes. At 7.00 o’clock rang to enquire about the order , told it was already on route , out for delivery. Made two more calls , same answer.The delivery finally arrived at 7.50 pm and Needless to say it was cold.
Had to reheat in a microwave, and as one meal was a tandoori mixed grill , you are reheating cooked meat.
Will never ever order a delivery from them again.

Wish It were possible to give zero star or half star.
Worse food served in the whole of Exeter. Menus don’t reflect what you get. If you are really out for Indian food, this is one of those places you will want to avoid.
The Bryanni doesn’t even taste like Bryanni, the curries are so flat. Nothing to write home about. And the place is unjustifiably expensive for no good reason.
Me and my family had to wait for an hour to be served colored rice as Bryanni with few prawns and other boiled pieces of onion.
I won’t recommend these place even to my worse enemy. At the end of the day, we got to pay £63 for utterly nothing.

We have had meals at the Curry King and had takeaways from here without fault, but the takeaway we received from here tonight was awful. An hour and a half to deliver which I’m not that bothered about if the food is good but it was awful, cold watery and no flavour. Really disappointed neither of us have been able to eat more than a quarter of it.

I ordered chicken biryani and mushroom bhaji.
Both were horrible.
Mushroom was not cooked properly. Chicken biryani didn’t have any salt at all and chicken was hard.
Waste of money and time. I ordered when I was so hungry and ended in total disappointment. Will never order and not recommend to others . Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Ordered through uber eat. The food was tasty but there’s safety risk! There was a piece of sharp, hard and dirty plastic chip inside one of the dish! I found it when I was eating and had to spit it out. It could definitely choke people and cause injury and the food of cause was contaminated!

Worst curry I have ever eaten.
Food was incredibly poor and restaurant was completely empty and everywhere else was full, which should have been the tell tell sign.
Ordered a Tikka Masala myself and didn’t even eat any of it, just had no flavour and manager didn’t care.
4 of us ate and none of us enjoyed our food.

Dined at the curry king tonight and it was lovely. The waiter was really attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! Complimentary chocolates with the bill that was an added bonus.

Curry was that watery it looks like dish water….nice flavour.

And no alcohol…..the place has gone down hill so fast and will not being ordering from these again.

Really poor this evening. Took about 2 hours to be delivered and we had to call up a number of times. We were told it was out for delivery when it clearly wasn’t.
Missing food from the order as well.
