My Indian friend introduced me to this restaurant, and it instantly became one of my favorites! Their biryani is the best I’ve ever had, so flavorful and truly authentic. We actually drive all the way from VT just to eat here whenever we’re craving good Indian food. The flavors never disappoint and the portions are generous. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine in New England!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in Keene – An Absolutely Fantastic Find!
I was traveling through Keene and had a serious craving for authentic, comforting food. I quickly searched for an Indian Pakistani restaurant, and Curry Indian & Pakistani Restaurant popped up. I decided to give it a try, and I am so incredibly glad I did.

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s clearly a small, family-operated restaurant, and you can feel the care and pride they put into their food and service. The scent of spices was incredible and inviting.

I ordered a mix of dishes, and let me tell you, everything was outstanding. The naan was fresh out of the tandoor, piping hot, soft, and utterly perfect for scooping up the flavorful curries. But the real showstopper were the kababs. I am not exaggerating when I say they are to die for. Juicy, perfectly spiced, and grilled to smoky perfection—if you are hungry, you MUST order them. You will not be disappointed.

The portions were generous, the value was excellent, and every bite felt homemade and full of love. It’s exactly the kind of authentic, high-quality meal you hope to find when you’re on the road.

After such a wonderful experience, I can only assume the handful of negative reviews out there must be from competitors. This place is the real deal. I will 100% be going out of my way to stop here whenever I’m near Keene again. Do yourself a favor and try Curry Indian & Pakistani Restaurant. You will leave happy, full, and already planning your next visit!

I recently dined at Curry Indian & Pakistani Restaurant in Keene, NH, and ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, naan, and a small side of rice. The food was phenomenal—flavorful, perfectly spiced, and satisfying. The naan was fresh and paired beautifully with the rich, tender chicken.

However, the $6 charge for a small side of rice felt a bit overpriced, especially since many restaurants include rice with the entrée. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d highly recommend it for the incredible flavors.

Food was amazing and the service was great. Atmosphere is basic but the offerings made up for it. Make sure you get some naan!

Food was really good so I gave it three stars for the food. It was very authentic. They were very friendly and helpful and take pride in their food. They lose one star for cleanliness as everything here looked like it needed some scrubbing. They lose another star for prices. It cost us about fifty dollars for lunch for two here and we were served on plastic plates. Way to high. We have another authentic Indian restaurant we visit in another town that is full service with liwwr prices. It’s to bad because the food was really good.

Ten out of Ten for this delicious honest-to-goodness Pakistan-Afghan down home style eatery where the food is great! Succulent expertly grilled chucks of chicken tikka on skewers is put in a rich Masala sauce for you, Beautifully scented Basmati rice melts on the tongue, fresh buttery garlic nan bread arrives all hot and crispy, and don’t miss the chana masala (chick peas) in a rich hot delicious sauce. We loved the fresh chicken shish kebab, too, and the hot black tea with sugar. Proprietors Mohammed Waheed & Begum Saadia are engaging, well travelled, warm, welcoming, hospitable, and very charming. They’re kind and laid back and on the night my husband and I visited to collect our food their phone didn’t stop ringing with delivery orders. Meeting this beautiful couple and one of their 7 children, and chatting in their relaxed restaurant with them was a treat on this wet snowy February evening. They made time to chat with us and we left feeling like family. We love this family oriented place, it offers great authentic food at good prices, the spices and cooking style is Afghan and Pakistan with a large selection of side dishes. The Basmati rice was delicately scented with cloves. The fresh green chopped coriander on the garlic nans made them look and taste beautiful. This place is no-frills with good honest cooking and great tasty food served for quickness on paper plates with plastic spoons – just as it is in Lahore, Kabul, and London where I’m from. Don’t visit and expect this restaurant to have fancy china plates or plasticcy anonymous looking staff in uniforms, or a neat and tidy franchise feel or appearance. Expect instead plain looking tables and chairs for diners to eat at, a chilled drinks cabinet, a tv showing news stations from all around the world, a couple of pot plants, and nothing else but a window cut into the wall through which you can watch this couple cooking the best food! Sir Mohammed Waheed and Begum Saadia thank you for keeping it real, we thank you for your 1st class hospitality and kindness to us and will be honored to return to you soon.

I adore this restaurant! The kind people that work there might be the best part but the tantalizing smells will compel you to eat there if you even walk nearby. Thank you!

Pretty sure by the time I click ‘Post Review’ this place will be permanently closed. Had dinner here in-house an evening around 5 pm. We walked into the empty place, with empty showcases and shelves. We spoke to a young woman who said they were out of chickpeas and a couple dishes we wanted to try. Being out of chickpeas is like a beach running out of sand. Still wanted to try the place.

We had to wait a half hour for them to make our food. Now at this time all the staff are eating – get this- dishes with chickpeas. Imagine that. We got our food for dine in except they packed everything to go. Had to unravel packaging at the table. There was a second bag we opened that I assumed was ours too because it had the items we ordered. As we were eating the owner came up to our table and asked for the bag back, for a woman standing there waiting for her food. They accidentally gave us her bag, that we opened. He wrapped everything up and re bagged it right in front of her and gave it to her. I would have been mortified. So pictured here was $64. For 2 people. Tasty food but extremely small portions without key ingredients. That will be our last visit..
