Her mother and grandmothers are a large influence in her life, from whom she learned most of those authentic dishes.

I’ve been here many times and the food is ALWAYS delicious!! I absolutely love Alaksha!! She was very sweet and gave me a drink on the house because I was having a hard day!! It truly brightened my day!! They’re also extremely quick and have large portions for a good price in my opinion! If I can be honest they’re definitely my go to place at Morgan st!

I tried the Curry in a Hurry food truck when they were at Moore Square for an event. Not only was the man running the truck so kind and welcoming, the FOOD?!? VERY good! I had butter chicken with rice and my friend got a Mango Lassi. It was perfect! Excellent service and great food! I highly recommend this spot!

Stopped by before work and was given 3 samples. I ended up with the butter chicken and it’s delicious. I am currently trying to finish my meal.

Curry in a Hurry is one of my favorite spots in Morgan Street Food Hall. As an NC State student it’s super convenient and always hits when you need a good meal. The garlic naan is some of the best I’ve had and the chicken and rice dishes are always flavorful and filling. It’s quick affordable and consistently good which makes it an easy go to. Definitely one of the best places in the food hall. The owner even came out to introduce herself she is a very nice lady. Will be back again soon

Great food, great service. My family & I went to bond brothers in Cary tonight & got dinner from the food truck. Both men running the show were incredibly nice & so sweet to our daughter, waving from the window/high fives/making funny faces and keeping her laughing. Thank yall for a great experience & meal, we’ll always come back

Vihan, the first face I saw when approaching this amazing establishment. When approaching his mother’s business I was greeted not only with a welcoming smile, but some would say a gift as well. He was very eager to share his mother’s recipe with myself providing two of his favorite recipes with me. Even with just the samples it blew my expectations out of the water. Now indulging in the full experience of the meal, I couldn’t be more impressed with the outcome of my overall experience here at Morgan street food hall.

I mean, if you know you know.

Curry in a Hurry, the name might make you think the curry is quick so it’s low quality but you would be wrong! The curry made here is amazing, flavorful, and made with love!

The chef here is cranking out dishes that she wouldn’t serve to you if she wouldn’t feed it to her own family. All the slices are roasted in house, each dish packed with love. The meals here will have you coming back for more!

I highly highly recommend the chicken Kati and the butter chicken. Both were immaculate! I’ll definitely be coming back here for more food!

Can’t speak to the Morgan Street Food Hall experience – this review is solely on the food truck from the recent Pimento Cheese Festival.

Service – Outstanding. Out of all the food trucks we visited, the staff were outgoing, kind, fast, etc. Truly sold their product and made you want to stand in line.

Food – good. Garlic naan was superb. The curry chicken over fries (add pimento because of the festival) was mid. The fries needed more time in the fryer to maintain some crisp. The smothered curry chicken was on the bland side. I’ve had better. HOWEVER, food trucks at a festival is a whole different beast. I would return to their location just because of the staff!
