Love eating here. Food is always delicious and prices are reasonable. Plenty of options and I even like that I can order less rice for slightly cheaper. Gyoza is cheaper than most ramen places too.

Love love. Always great! No complaints. Great taste. Great service. Great options. Only thing I truly miss from Japan is the true spice level options 1-20.

I got the Chicken Katsu Curry but added Spinach for some veggies. I would recommend keeping the curry on the side so that your Katsu doesn’t become soggy. I am gonna do that next time. Great service! She asked if we needed anything one time during the meal which for me deserves a good tip.

Sadly this will be our last time with this location. We drove an hour to pickup food from here as we do about once a week. We love their food go to any location we can when traveling in the states or internationally.

The manager here personally knows us as well and makes sure that we get our order right as often this location will mess it up.

Sometimes it’s not spicy or quantities are way less, like barely any curry for a curry place. We gave up and decided to just order a side of curry as part of our regular order. We don’t need to do this at any other location and always get enough curry just with the main order.

The manager knows this and says human error happens, which yeah sure it does so no problems there. But he always makes it right at least for us until today.

Today the manager wasn’t there and staff decided to argue with us when giving our food after already confirming order and total over the phone before we started driving. And then they piled the hidden charges. Of all things they wanted to charge us for extra rice which we didn’t order nor did we get with their reason being they gave us extra “extra” curry which we already did pay for. Didn’t make any sense. I don’t want to argue for my dinner. I would have gladly paid $2 more if they just added that to my entree order price but charging me bait and switch for rice I didn’t order? No way! That’s the last straw.

To owner and management: Stop being so stingy with your food especially for locals who come there often. Read the other reviews, they all complain about the same thing. If it’s not cost effective for you, raise the price but don’t skimp on the quantity or even worse charge for items you’re not even serving. That’s super shady practice.

If this is how they want to treat loyal long term customers, our values don’t align and we will continue to go their many other locations instead or the many different options in Kapolei that treat us as Ohana.

We did takeout. The order was ready within 10 minutes. It was packaged very well and absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for curry, this is the place to go! Highly recommend the kalbi/fried chicken and croquettes.

Shrimp fry udon (spicy) : really good. Everything is good.
Chicken cutlet curry (mild) : good too. But mild make the taste feel soft. Chicken cutlet its ok.

Service : Nice. Polite. Clear explanation.

Atmosphere : clean. Front cook

The first Coco Curry Oahu restaurant to reinstate dine in after the Covid era when all the rest were take out only…. And to this day I still support Eating curry out of a plastic container isnt the same as eating curry freshly poured over a plate of steaming hot rice. IYKYK. The owner/manager is always on property and runs this restaurant better than ive seen the others…

Located in the Village shopping plaza anchored by Foodland in Kapolei, its a busy plaza but always has ample parking available. Easy access to the freeway and off Kapolei Parkway

This Curry house also has different spice levels, and takes credit cards in addition to cash too.

The go to is the Kalbi/fried chicken mix with cheese and side order gyoza. Mops!

Havent had a bad dish here, although the last visit the portion looked a little smaller but maybe it was just the chef on a bad day… 5 stars

SO HAPPY to have a cocos out in Kapolei. They are the best Japanese curry hands down, and this location is really convenient in the strip mall near the freeway and businesses for lunch. Food came out super fast and staff was really friendly.

I tried pork katsu with shrimp fry topping. It looked nothing special but the taste was good! The shrimp and the katsu were cooked just right – crispy outside and soft inside. Generous portions with good price as well. I want to try different toppings when I go next time.
