Very disappointing meal for Saturday night! The Chicken Masala was okay however the Lamb Tikka was abysmal! Six pieces of lamb that looked as though it had been cooked yesterday then reheated is the best way to describe it! Cremated more than chargrilled. Oh and the order was incorrect as one pickle tray was missing. Definitely not worth the £53 I paid for this takeaway.

Like an other reviewer re sat night,, what a total waste of time, finished work, put order in, said 20 mins, rushed through to collect, no need,, waited almost an hour,as for the food,atrocious, pakora seemed old and reheated,awful,, the chicken tikka,omg,it was white, a slight hint of pink and chewy, not eaten, my dansac,oh my,, runny,, very poor sauce, meant to be rich and thick/ ish,,terrible,, and the chicken !! Some bits were ok,some were tough,,not eaten,,if i could have been bothered i would have driven back through and returned all of it, many good meals over the years from there, but the wait and quality simply nowhere near good enough,,happy valentines

One star for fresh poppadum and lime pickle on the pickle tray. Everything else was almost inedible – spicy onions (no cucumber, coriander etc) and ‘mango’ chutney are a toxic red with food colouring and taste of artificial sweetener. The pilau rice has no aromatics – seems like plain rice with yet more food colouring added. The curry? I ordered Joypuri because of the cashew nuts, not that I have been able to eat much I have found 4, onions are rock hard and not even cut up properly, the chicken has brown areas – I can’t determine if it is because it was cut close to the bone or not fresh – it doesn’t seem it. This curry doesn’t come with sauce – it comes with grease/oil. Absolute waste of nearly £20

We have ordered takeaway from this establishment on several occasions and never fails to disappoint. Collection from the store itself is quick and convenient, and delivery is good as well despite some occasions where the delivery time was significantly longer than mentioned and some items had became missing from the order. Food in general is satisfactory. The Chicken Pakora starter is flavourful and warm, Poppadoms are fresh and crisp, Rice is delicate and smooth and goes well with a seasoning of salt, and some of the Chicken and Curry Mains have the correct amount of spice and balance. A decent good value Indian Takeaway for the Culloden area.

I’m very surprised how well rated this place is (4.5 at time of review), given the quality of food we received.
I could excuse the late delivery (an hour past the estimate) but there is no excuse for the amount of oil in each of our dishes. See the attached photo – meat was swimming in it (removed to better show).
It’s possible this isn’t representative of their usual quality but it has certainly put me off ever ordering here again.

Having eaten Indian food at many places in the world, this little Takeaway place is a real stand out. I had marked it before our trip, knowing that we would be a few miles away.
After a long day of sightseeing, we decided to pick some up, instead of going to one of the sitdown restaurants in Inverness, and head back to our B&B. We opted for vegetable, samosas, lamb, vindaloo, saag bahii (spinach with potatoes, garlic naan, and rice.
When we ordered the vindaloo, the gentleman assisting us at the counter raised desired brows, and said, are you sure, sir? I asked if it was hot and he said very that’s why I was making sure. I told him that if we weren’t sweating, it wasn’t hot enough. He got a good chuckle and placed the order.
Our order was ready very quickly, 10 to 15 minutes. And we were totally happy with the results. The vindaloo was blisteringly hot, but the saffron rice tempered it nicely. They included a small salad with a sweet curry yogurt dressing that balanced things nicely. We had not had the spinach and potato dish before, but it was a delight as well. The samosas were a little smaller than we used to, but had a marvelous flavor. So taking nothing away there as they gave us four of them. The garlic naan was on par with the rest of the meal, and very satisfying. I really, honestly wasn’t paying much attention to the prices as we ordered, and was happily surprised when the bill only came to 30 pounds 80.
All in all, a superior Takeaway, dinner. These are the type of places we look for even when we’re at home and this one would be a regular if we lived in the area.

Normally have a good meal from here, but tonight’s meal was the normal good fare apart from the chicken pakora. I can’t believe they sent that out the kitchen dried out and looked like it was reheated more than once. Really disappointed.
