We were in Georgetown on a Wednesday and decided to try this restaurant because we love Indian food and it had fantastic reviews; we weren’t disappointed.

Rangoli Indian has a beautiful and easy-to-view website online via pc and smartphone. Reservations can be made online; we didn’t use this feature.

There is plenty of free parking on the street and in the adjacent parking lot, both have a maximum two-hour parking time restriction. We only noticed the free customer parking sign, which leads you to the rear of the building, after we left.

The restaurant is located inside an older home-style building that is shared with other business tenants. There is a shared basement washroom that is relatively clean.

Rangoli Indian seats approximately 26 people on comfortable padded chairs inside a nicely decorated and clean area. Our host was friendly and attentive. We order the Monsoon Basket and Samosas 3 pcs for our appetizers. Both came in a boat-style serving plate with a sweet chutney sauce; it was somewhat difficult to scoop the sauce because of the narrow width of the sauce tray. Both appetizers and the sauce were delicious and flavourful! Our entrees were Paneer Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice and Bhindi Masala along with Garlic Naan. The flavors were outstanding! The heat spice is customizable to however you like it. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being crazy spicy hot, I ordered an eight and loved the fact that the heat spices were definitely present but did not interfere with the overall flavor. I have a big and healthy appetite and despite the visual serving portion size, I can say the serving size was more than adequate and left me feeling full. As we were dining, we noticed several people come in to take their take-out orders, which indicates a strong supportive customer base.

Rangoli Indian Restaurant also goes by the name The Bridgewood; the name on the credit card receipt and the name listed out front of the building. The “Tip Guide” located on the bottom portion of the printed receipt is based on the total price, which includes the HST tax; technically, tips are supposed to be based on pre-tax.

We would definitely recommend this restaurant to all food lovers!

We decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of friend and were pleasantly surprised! Great service and delicious freshly made food. The garlic naan, lamb shank, chicken biryani, chicken 65 and momos were delicious. The gulab jamun and mango lassi were amazing too. The hosts were gracious and friendly and made sure to check on us frequently. We will definitely be trying other dishes soon!

We were craving Indian food tonight and they were able to accommodate a last minute reservation on a Friday night. The food was amazingly delicious. It was the best butter chicken that we’ve had in a very long time. We will be back again soon. Thank you.

Today I ate at Curry & Co for a second time. Again, the food was excellent. The service was superb. We live in Brampton & regularly eat Indian food, the food here is some of the best I have ever had. The Butter Chicken, Lamb Curry and Spinach Paneer are good, with high quality ingredients, but the Curry & Co Chicken Curry steals the show. Its outstanding. Juicy, flavourful & just the right amount of spice. Try the Garlic Naan. Pictured is the Dessert Trio. Be warned, the Gulab Jamun is served very hot. Eat it with a scoop of ice cream.

My mother and I went for lunch today for the first time at Rangoli Indian Restaurant, (where the Bridgewood used to be).

The food was absolutely phenomenal. I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants over the years and this one is in my top 3.

I started with the samosas as an appetizer and I would go back JUST for those alone! They were probably the best samosas I’ve ever had. They were fried to perfection, super crispy and pipingly hot but not greasy at all. The filling was perfectly spiced to be slightly spicy but not overpoweringly so.

For my main meal I went with the korma chicken with a side of plain rice and 2 naans, one each of the butter and the garlic.

Let’s start with the naans. SO good! They were so well cooked. The butter naan had the perfect ratio of butter and wasnt greasy or dripping with it. The garlic naan was so good and it had a ton of garlic on the naan itself which I dont usually see (which is awesome cause there is no such thing as too much garlic lol!) They were crispy while also being soft and just over all the perfect addition to my meal.

The rice was….. well rice lol. It was well cooked and they made it look pretty with a little garnish.

Now. The chicken korma was probably the best authentic korma I’ve ever had. I ordered it medium spicy. It was delicious with a good kick of spice at the end of each bite. I loved that it was well spiced and wasn’t dumbed down for the average Canadian palate. You could taste that the korma sauce had been handmade with authentic spices. It’s definitely not something you would get at just any old restaurant.

The staff were attentive and wonderful to talk to, while also being respectful and keeping their distance when needed. The perfect balance.

Basically it was amazing and so so delicious and if you enjoy Indian food at ALL, you NEED to try Rangoli at least once!

Absolutely recommend, 5 stars, please visit and tell your friends!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant just before closing, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. Despite arriving late, I was able to order drinks and the chicken tikka with roti, and I have to say that it was one of the best chicken tikka dishes I’ve ever had.

The chicken was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spices and tenderness. The roti was also delicious and freshly made. Even though the restaurant was about to close, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had a great dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. Don’t miss out on the chicken tikka – it’s definitely a standout dish!
