PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES OR WHO CARE ABOUT THEIR GUT HEALTH: Do NOT come here! It’s not a clean place and they do not care about cross-contamination.

I called ahead and said I had a sensitive stomach and food allergies. I asked about cleanliness, cross-contamination and everything. I was reassured repeatedly by the gentleman on the phone that the place was so clean that he stayed there for a year and a half, even though it was a temp part time, and that they took food allergies very seriously. The gentleman I spoke to gave his full name, said please call back if something is wrong (to which I replied, I can’t have anything go wrong, which is why I’m calling). He reassured me again.

My partner brings the bowls home. I open it up, and begin to eat some of the sweet potatoes, hummus, pumpkin seeds and rice. I notice it tastes a little off, and look around. Lo and behold, there’s a giant chunk of meat in my bowl. I threw the whole thing away but not before eating enough that I just took activated charcoal and am praying I won’t need to go to the hospital. Beyond that, investigating the rest of the bowl, it had an odd smell, like it was not at all fresh. I was so hungry and I’m so stuffed up from being sick that I didn’t notice. The side of mango salsa had same smell. Looking closer at the sweet potato, several of them had rotten spots. I’ve included photos of one. (Also, and less of an issue but the rice looks like instant Uncle Ben’s).

I am LIVID. I am already sick and this could push me over the edge. I am sitting here next to my Epi-Pens, hoping none of my life threatening allergens made it into the bowl. Even if it’s “only” an unclean food, that could also land me in huge health trouble. When someone asks, you should be honest! Say – hey, maybe this isn’t the place for you.

And here’s the kicker, I called back and asked for that guy and they just kept saying who? Like they didn’t know who it was. Giving me an attitude. Then when I finally said I just talked to him and he gave me his name, they said oh, he left.

Pics attached of hunk of meat and one of rotted out sweet potatoes. Going to make a claim against this place and report to the health department, state AG etc. I am so angry! I went there for nutrition. I’ve tried hard to find a place I could get takeout from. I am too sick to cook right now, covid or something. If this is Ohio’s idea of healthy fast casual, that’s just insane.

I stumbled upon this place one night leaving from meeting a friend and my partner wanted me to go inside and check it out. I was against at first because I was pouting lol but I’m so glad I did! Will and Evie made my first experience thee absolute best!! Will was the server on duty and was so polite from the moment he greeted me. We talked about December birthdays and how he understood the importance of separating our birthdays from Christmas because his brother has a December birthday as well. I had only came in for a smoothie but once I got to looking over the menu and he told me about a few things I quickly came back to order a bowl with my smoothie. Will made the start of my birthday month awesome! The bowl and the smoothie were so flavorful! I cannot wait to try the Dayton location! Thank you again Will and Evie for an amazing experience. I’m telling all my friends they have to try this place.

Love this location! The staff in the evening is always so friendly when I come in to build a healthy bowl on my lunch break. They are so kind and helpful when I ask questions. The food is kept fresh and organized. The dining area is kept clean and stocked.

I’ve been a regular customer at this location for the past three years and have always had positive experiences — it’s truly been one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me quite disappointed.
Typically, I ask for extra sweet potatoes because the standard portion is quite small. Over time, I’ve noticed the amount has decreased to just a few cubes, so I began requesting two or three scoops. This has never been an issue at other locations.
However, during my last visit, the staff member being trained was instructed not to give me more than a scoop and a half — even though I had already paid extra for steak, bringing my total to $18 for a bowl that included just a scoop and a half of sweet potatoes, three scoops of chickpeas, and rice. When I politely asked about the portion, I was told that’s the maximum allowed. I mentioned that I wouldn’t be returning to this location, and the employee responded, “That’s fine.”
I understand policies may vary, but I felt the response lacked empathy and consideration for a loyal customer. This location is conveniently on my way home from work, and I genuinely looked forward to stopping by. I don’t mind paying for quality food, but I do expect fair portions — especially when a whole sweet potato costs about a dollar.
I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it can be taken constructively. I’d love to continue supporting this location, but I also hope consistency and customer care can be prioritized. Moving forward, I’ll be visiting other locations that demonstrate a stronger commitment to both

I am compelled to give this a three-star rating, not due to the quality of the food itself, but rather the subpar containers in which they are served. Upon ordering multiple items, I noticed that within a mere two hours of consumption, the bowls became soggy. Consequently, the lettuce adhered to the paper bowl, rendering it difficult to consume the contents at the bottom without inadvertently eating the paper. I am astonished that Corrido would place their otherwise excellent salads in paper bowls that would inevitably become saturated with chemicals. It is essential to consume this food within an hour, as it will become soggy if left for an extended period. Regrettably, this experience will influence my decision-making process in the future.

I Ordered the Carolina bowl with steak to go. Once home I found the bowl incorrect. My bowl was missing steak, Carolina sauce and lemon herb ranch dressing. This location had only one employee working and within reason cannot place blame on the only employee keeping the doors open. This is the first time having any issues with Currito’s. This is unacceptable.

Food was fantastic. I was impressed with the flavor of the chicken and steak, it was not over powered by the rest of the ingredients, the staff was very welcoming and worked quickly through a lunch rush. I will be back more often.

Very clean. Fresh food. The lady wasn’t too friendly, the two young men were friendly.

I enjoyed being able to eat fresh cabbage , cucumbers, greens, brown rice and so many more healthy items in my bowl.

I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

The food is so good! My wife loves the Mediterranean, I like to build my own. Only been there twice and I am hooked. Both times were great!

This place beats most fast casual spots I’ve been to in Ohio for a quick dinner. I ordered a custom grain bowl. The portion and value for the price both get a thumbs up, even with paying more for extra protein. The veggies were fresh and abundant and the house vinaigrette was really tasty. The curried chickpeas were easily my favorite part of the bowl; based on those alone, they earned the right to call themselves “Currito”! Everything else was pretty good, no complaints, no raves, just a wholesome refreshing meal. Very respectable chain if every location matches the quality here!
