Tried this place on a whim and was not disappointed, ordered the goat achari per the chef’s recommendation and my friend ordered the chili chicken, both were phenomenal. Portions were huge and I still left nothing on my plate. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

I went into the place around 3pm for a late lunch. I go in the front door, and the bell goes off announcing the front door had opened. No employees are up front and no customers are in the place. I wait for a few minutes, because I can hear someone in the back, but no one comes out. I ring the bell and about a minute later an employee shows up. He asks me what I would like, and I say “I would like to get some food.” He indicates the dining area and says I could have sat down. I explain that there was no one to observe I was there, so I wanted to make sure they knew they had a customer.
He comes over once I’ve sat myself and takes my order. I ask for just a water to drink, which comes out quickly. Along with the water, he asks me to write a review of my experience. The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Naan come out about 10 minutes later, along with some rice. The food was incredible! I asked for a level 3 on the spice, and it was perfect.
When I finished my meal, I then sat there for about 30 minutes, waiting for the server to be by with the check. Or even just to check on me, which also didn’t happen while I was eating. To be fair, I did have my tablet with me, so I could read while waiting for the food and while eating. I eventually walked up to the counter, where the server was sitting eating some food. I shared my feedback with him and he stated that I was always looking busy, so he didn’t want to interrupt.
Overall – the food was great. I just with the front of house employee was half as good. Odds are I will not be back.

Stumbled onto this place today and was pretty blown away. Best Indian food I’ve had in Louisville, and giving serious Vietnam Kitchen hidden gem vibes. Definitely give this place a try!
