Curly’s Chicken House catered our reception and put together a spread of the BEST summer picnic dishes! Rotisserie style chicken halves, corn on the cob, coleslaw, salt potatoes… you name it! They had the buffet hot and ready to go when the reception kicked off. Not only was the food PERFECT, juicy chicken, tender potatoes, oniony buttery spread for the corn which was also not dry, they left explicit instructions on where the extras were and made sure to follow up before, during, and after the event. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for dinner and catering alike!

Curlys was my family breakfast spot every Sunday for years. They never disappoint! Best rotisserie chicken in the area and fabulous fish fry!

Used to love this place but it’s gotten so hit or miss lately. Had the worse meal ever last night. Got the small fish fry, only about a dollar difference but didn’t need the regular size which is pretty large. My husband got the regular. His was more than twice the size as mine. Was thinking I made a mistake and should have gone with the regular. As it turned out, the small was enough as it didn’t taste like their usual. It had no taste at all. Luckily I had my usual coleslaw which was good as usual. Now the really frustrating part. They were out of mac & cheese, macaroni salad, and baked fish (my gluten free friend was really looking to have fish and had to go with the chicken). With no Mac & cheese, decided I need veggies. Mix of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots was the ticket. After waiting for the meal to come, our server had to deliver the news that they were now out of the mixed vegetables. Corn or peas was the new choices if I still wanted veggies. Chose corn which was a mistake but maybe it was because I was looking forward to the mixed vegetables. Overall it was a very disappointing meal, but at least I didn’t go hungry. I got to have a bowl of coleslaw for $15.

Ordered their Mac n cheese only to get a horrible box version. Well not eat it taste awful. I called them immediately to say that is not the Mac n cheese they serve on Fridays. I was told they only make it on Friday. It does not say this on their menu that it is not homemade yet it is pricey for box version. They did not offer a refund only sorry that I didn’t know. Why would I know they only make it on Friday. Trying to make it my fault. They should say homemade only avail on Friday. I retract my previous review of being delicious.

The only 3 times I’ve ever ordered dinner to-go, the orders have been messed up. Wrong items or forgotten items with each order. And tonight we got the Large Family Meal to bring home and the Chicken was incredibly dry, drumsticks and wings absolutely inedible. Dry and hard. Used all the gravy that we had initially ordered with the mashed potatoes to cover the dry chicken breast just so we could eat our dinner. Had to drive back to the restaurant from home to pick up part of the order that they didn’t include.
What’s going on down there lately? Sad to see the quality go downhill.
Wish you the best, we won’t be ordering dinner again.

Our waitress was extremely friendly. The food was delicious. We were in town and needed somewhere to eat. Very glad we stopped here. I got the crispy chicken sandwich, my husband got the Texas hot burger, and the little lady got chicken fries. The breading on my chicken was delicious and the chicken was so juicy. I wish I lived there so I could go weekly. My husband loved his burger and the fries were perfectly crispy. Fast service, lovely staff, and affordable prices. You truly cannot beat it.

Stopped by for lunch. Nothing fancy in terms of exterior/interior asthetics, but still had a great down-home style vibe. I was greeted and served promptly. Ordered the chicken and biscuits meal, my 2 sides were the Coleslaw (which is hyped by reviews and website) and mashed taters and gravy. Coleslaw came out first and it was unique, and one of the best slaws that I’ve ever had. It’s flavor is not so much a traditional slaw dressing, but it works amazingly well. Cabbage mix is an extremely fine shred, and there is either pineapple in that mix or pineapple juice in the dressing (more likely). So it’s a bit of a sweet slaw but it was so good I got some more to take home. My meal came out and was visibly steaming and warm. The chicken and biscuits were very good. Good portion, 2 biscuits topped generously with white meat chicken and gravy (and my Mashed potatoes). The gravy was delicious. Smooth and well seasoned. Chicken was moist. Biscuit flavor was good too. I’d say my only complaint would be that the biscuits were served from room temperature, while everything else was hot. It was still very delicious and easy to forgive that, but I think it would be slightly better with hot biscuits. I was too stuffed to try the pie which is supposed to be good. Service was prompt and friendly. It seems like the breakfast would be well worth trying! Curly’s is worth a visit, I will be back next time I pass through! 9.5 out of 10….clucking delicious!
