Local diner with a homey vibe, wraparound bar & a spacious patio offering burgers, beer & bar bites.

Iconic local restaurant serving a full menu. Plenty of seating in and out.
Our lunch time meals were prepared perfectly and served hot and fresh. Our server was the only wait staff working. She was attentive even though working 5 tables and the bar! BRAVO.
My grilled cheese was better than my mom’s. Sorry mom. The fries and rings were delicious. I wanted more…
We enjoyed our time there.
Such a long running staple in the community, Curley’s desperately needs a refresh. The building and contents are tired and worn.
With such a strong menu, patrons would reward you with increased business in exchange for a makeover.
Refresh or not, it’s a great menu, the kitchen nails it and the help (at least our server) is extraordinary.
Recommended.

Curley’s Cafe is an Old Time diner. With great big portions and quick service – when they’re not busy. There’s plenty of parking out front and even a patio they just built. A really nice bar for your bloody Mary’s and micheladas for sports weekends – the TVs are on with all the games Sunday.
Today we had breakfast. Ham and eggs with a giant slice of ham and corned beef hash and eggs. Something a lot of places don’t have anymore. Corned beef hash.
In the past I’ve had a great big Cobb salad. And a Patty melt. They have all the good diner favorites.
Amanda waited on us today. We got our own carafe of fresh brewed coffee. Because it was after the breakfast crowd we were able to sit for a while and talk after. By the way, Amanda gave us great service. Thanks for the tasty food and friendly folks.

Great gem of a place that’s been there for years. Food is awesome and well-priced for what you get. Coldest beer in town, and the food is amazing! I stop in every time I visit Long Beach. The giant oil derrick outside is something pretty cool as well. It’s a good place to take out of towers also!

Leave your kids at home! Please don’t ruin this. This is my favorite Sunday morning breakfast spot in Long Beach. Lots of booze and lots of great food. The chicken fried steak is one of my favorites. Today I got the eggs Benedict and the enchilada cheese omelette, And two bloody Mary’s. I also always get a short stack. The pancakes here are thicker then a crepe but not too thick, and they put in a touch of cinnamon , …… “Beg your pardon? Cinnamon takes a back seat to no babka. People love cinnamon. It should be on tables at restaurants along with salt and pepper. Anytime anyone says, ‘Oh This is so good. What’s in it?’ The answer invariably comes back: cinnamon. Cinnamon. Again and again. Lesser babka? I think not.” Jerry Seinfeld.
This is a great classic dinner with good booze and good food.

A delectable sandwich with a crispy texture, filled with premium quality bacon strips, fresh and chunky guacamole, succulent tomatoes, and crisp lettuce, all nestled in a buttery and round roll. It is truly an exceptional culinary experience.
Curley’s establishment places great emphasis on customer satisfaction, as evident in the courteous and efficient service provided by their employees. Patrons can be assured of a satisfying and fulfilling dining experience.

Ive been here a couple times and ive NEVER had a bad experience until today. I went in with my mom, we sat down and waited. It took a server 5 minutes to hand us a menu, there wasnt more than 3 tables being used. We ordered, got our food, and ate. Not once were we checked on, once it came time to pay, our server cassandra was nowhere to be seen. My mom went up to the bar to pay and saw that cassandra was on her phone instead of helping customers. Food was good but the service was not good at all today.

I visited yesterday for the first time. I enjoy trying out tuna melts and this one did not disappoint. The sweet potato fries hit. I sat on the quieter side but I learned that it will soon be converted into a pool hall. The waitress was very kind and hospitable.

Nice cozy sports bar. Prices reasonable and food was good. Would have been a lot better if music was more varied (rock music the whole time) and my dinner plate wasn’t chipped. Staff was friendly and service was excellent.

My dad told me the burgers here were good so I came with him. Although it looks empty, it’s a nice atmosphere, very homey. Great music, great service, and a nice menu. I got the curleys bacon cheeseburger with fries and my dad got the california burger with potato salad. 10/10 everything. Nice prices too!
