This place was absolutely fantastic and our waitress, Amanda was phenomenal!! She was very thorough on explaining the menu, including listing her top favorites.
The food was unbelievable. Kudos to their chef as every single dish had their own unique wonderful bursts of flavor that just made you want to eat more and more even if you were full. I tried the Tropic Thunder Margarita, the Enchiladas, and my husband had the Bria carne asada and chicken tacos and it was all so delicious!!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. I wish this restaurant was in my town as I live in Thomaston and it was well worth the drive. The atmosphere, service, and food is just stupendous!

What a great spot. I love most of the “curious” restaurants (pig, kitchen, cantina, etc). This spot has amazing birria tacos and fried avocado tacos! I also love that they have a happy hour/taco Tuesday option. Highly recommend! Oh- quick warning. They serve cucumber lime water. It’s pleasant, but if you aren’t expecting it, it can be quite a shock!

Highlights: outdoor seating on a beautiful day. Delicious cucumber lime water. Epic plain queso fundido.
Areas for improvement: the smothered classic burrito and curious burrito were both a little dry and heavy on rice without much meat.
Overall, worth it to come back for the queso fundido.

This is our 2nd time visiting. The drinks were excellent! The food was delicious. I love all 3 “curious” restaurants. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful. The bar opens to the outside and inside. That was a great architectural idea. We will definitely be back!

Took the family here knowing they had great drinks! They did not disappoint, again. Good variety of flavors, mixes, fresh juices. They’ve got new foodie items I haven’t tried before and some that I’ve always wished were featured at a good restaurant. Come here if you’re wanting to try something new – it will be good! Salsas were fresh and had lots of flavor, delicious guacamole and queso. Exactly what you want when feeling like sitting, chatting (or gossiping), and having a good margarita. They take reservations for 6 or more – bring friends and family!

I’ve now dined at this restaurant twice, and I’m pleased to report that it’s consistently delivering delicious food and drinks. The pulpo was a standout dish, surprisingly good even for a Mexican restaurant. The margarita, specially prepared by the manager, was also excellent. My only minor quibble was that the chips felt a bit stale, but everything else was top-notch. Overall, I’m impressed and look forward to my next visit.

Service was great, we sat quickly, and our server was attentive and kind.

Loved the cocktail options, the drinks tasted good and were well presented.

The salsa & chips wasn’t included, but spending $3 on what they give is absolutely worth it because the salsas were not average and were made really well.

Loved the chalupas. The lobster tostada was slightly disappointing though, tasted like a mound of mayo and I wish the lobster had been chunkier instead of spread out so much because the taste got lost in the mix.

Overall, a good experience and we would go back to try more things!

I do leave reviews for service businesses, but typically not for restaurants. Today (Saturday 1/24/26) changed that for me. A group of my closest girlfriends and I went out for a “ birthday lunch,” that lasted about four to five hours. We went to the Curious Cantina in Kedron Village shopping plaza. It was a great day. The food was delicious. We all had different entrees. The drinks were also delicious and worth the money, so much so that we paid our bills and decided to stay and have another round of drinks. I cannot remember the most popular margarita at our table, but the servers Chris and Conner, can tell you. These young men have the patience of Job and we tried every scintilla of it. The tequila used starts with an F and if I understood correctly, is not available at the retail level here in the U.S. I suggested that the chef might want to meet us (poor guy) because we had been causing chaos in his restaurant for hours. On our side, we did ask to be seated away from other patrons, because we know ourselves. ‍♀️ ‍♀️ Chef Chad Clevenger came out and talked to us and was the nicest guy. BTW, he beat Bobby Flay on Season 19, Episode 2 “Take Him to Fresno.” I cannot give enough stars to the experience that we had today. I hope you will visit them and pray you have as good of a time as we did. We already have plans to return to celebrate my birthday. We made sure it was okay with Chris, Conner and Chef Chad for us to return and cause upheaval, again, and were assured that it was. Additionally, because we did consume an undisclosed number of alcoholic beverages, Chef Chad checked on us more than once to make sure we had a designated driver and would get home, safely. Kudos to him for that. We did enjoy our drinks, but we are over the top even when we aren’t drinking! Try the dessert. The Tres Leches was yummy (just get all elements in one bite in order to enjoy the pleasure of all of the aspects of the dish at the same time). The churros with dipping sauces were also good. The Chocoflan was still cooking while we were ordering dessert, but after the chef described it to us…that will be my birthday dessert choice. Go enjoy some excellent food and drinks in a pleasant and welcoming locale.

Came by for a late lunch on Sunday afternoon. It was not too busy and we were quickly seated. My friend took me here, when I was visiting, after she and her husband had a great experience a few months prior. The atmosphere was fun and Mexican without being stereotypical. The free cucumber lime water was delicious and refreshing, but it you are looking for something more adult, I highly recommend the Tropic Thunder or Tequila Made Me Do It. I enjoyed the Crunch Wrap – don’t miss this one in the Classics section of the menu. The tortilla was stuffed with the meats and rice and the light char on the outside added character to the flavor. The potatoes were crisp and the dipping sauce was tasty. My friend got the Birria Torte (this is a sandwich). The side beans and rice were delicioso and the consume was spot on. This is a Mexican nod to a French Dip, but better, in my opinion. The temperatures were sweltering when I was there, but their outside patio looks like a perfect location for dining when the temperatures are more bare able.

My sister and I had dinner this evening on the patio. Chips and roasted salsa are very good. I had Carne Asada and Grilled chicken tacos and bowl of albondigas soup. I really enjoyed both. My sister had lobster tostada and side salad (great size). She loved both especially the Lobster. We loved our server, Amanda. Very attentive, helpful and quick. We would definitely ask for her again.
Only suggestion is to have more light at table in patio. I had to use my camera flashlight to see menu and food. I would go back again. We enjoyed ourselves.
