an absolute gem! found this place on my way to the airport and i already knew this was a “local favorite”. i was looking for a place that had french onion soup and by chance found Curbside… they did NOT disappoint. we sat outside on the patio, but the bar area was full (the first sign that this was a good joint). we got the french onion soup and the crab cake sandwich – both absolutely delivered! the french onion soup was PROPER – in capital letters because it was that good! authentic recipe, seasoned to perfection… as a french onion should be. proper as in, i devoured my bowl and made room to finish my BFs . the crab cake was also phenomenal. very fresh, delicate and also perfectly seasoned. lastly i have to mention the $5 Bloody Mary , a total steal! i’m not a resident of VA, but i’ve bookmarked Curbside because i would definitely come back the next time i’m in there area

Ordered French onion soup which seems to have been overrated in other reviews. It was very salty, came out warm (not hot), and was not a good onion broth. Tasted like a beef broth with lots of salt. The drinks were excellent. Service was very good. It’s a small local bar atmosphere, quite loud, about 6-7 tvs with sports on, neat neighborhood feel.

Not my worse experience but definitely not my best , let me start by saying I had a really nice waitress , but what went wrong I order the unicorn burger which comes with lettuce tomatoes pickles unions and bacon. The first problem is they didn’t put any bacon on my burger also the burger was literally just a chuck of meat with the inside still raw. The wait failed to ask me if I wanted my burger well done but to bring a burger that was uncooked in the middle was disgusting. I literally took one bite from the burger but me being nice and not wanting to be that guy I waited till I asked for the check to see if the waitress would atleast offer me a different item on the menu or just a better cooked burger but at that point I didn’t want anything from there. The cooks didn’t have no gloves on and no hairnets one cook literally had dreads swinging but the food. Not to mention I asked for a lemonade and that literally tasted like my little sister made that in the back yard and was selling it , was pure water and lemon no sugar. The icing on the cake was went I told her about the burger all the waitress said is she didn’t charge me for the drink so that should make up for it. I also still tipped !

Affordable, delicious food and sandwiches. Drinks are quite tasty and decent price point. Looking forward to checking them out for happy hour and brunch. Our server was patient, accommodating, and quite friendly. Grateful for the outside seating since it was loud inside and bar was full with patrons watching Sunday sports.

Great burgers, and the bartender was very helpful and friendly. Overall, I liked the place, but it did seem like it was geared more towards an older and local crowd. Sort of a neighborhood pub vibe.

Food was spot on delicious! I had the Jamestown, which is a crab cake sandwich, and the person I was with had a cheeseburger. Both were perfectly seasoned and very filling. They definitely had some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time. I have to say service was slow, but that was because there was only one waiter who seemed very stressed. Hopefully, management is working hard on making sure they are properly staffed so their staff isn’t overworked. We sat outside, and they have really well taken care of plants which is a nice touch.

Best neighborhood joint around. I got the smoked chicken club and it was banging. May your hosts never know a rainy day ☺️

Always had a good experience here. The pulled pork sandwich is the absolute tastiest I’ve had in the city. I crave it often. But don’t get lemonade here it always tastes bad. The other sandwiches are also great though! I love the Mt. Rodgers too. They also have a cute patio!
