We’re Curate, and we’re a leading fine dining restaurant and wine bar here in Springfield, IL. Every item on our menu is handcrafted from scratch using local ingredients whenever possible. Our chef-driven cocktail menu features craft cocktails designed to pair perfectly with your meal. Excellent early dinner experience. Husband and I shared the Brie, he had the lobster bisque and I had the french onion soup, we then also shared the steak tartare and filet mignon. An extremely wonderful dining experience!

The food is prepared extremely well and it is of good quality. I like it that they bring the food out as it is prepared. But the food portion is like a tease, you enjoy your food, but it is not enough! You want more……. We all liked what ever we ordered. Will go back again. A little pricey for the portion. Very friendly staff. We ended up going to Sam’s club afterward for a piece of Pizza to complete the dinner……lol

We loved everything. We liked every meal. We started off with the Roasted Brie and that was followed by the Filet, Short Rib, and the Scallops. EVERY plate was good. We had 2 cocktails a piece. I would recommend paper plane and what in a pear tree? Both were excellent cocktails. The bad apples was not my favorite. I really delayed coming to this restaurant and I shouldn’t have. The vibe was chill yet romantic. The waitresses were really accommodating. (I spilled my drink). We were pushing for a great night so cost wise $150+ which is a high end night for Springfield.

Had an AMAZING experience here with everything. Jessica, the bartender, did an incredible job balancing a fully packed bar. The food was also incredible. This place would be perfect for a date night or a “treat yourself” kind of night. I love small plates and the way they went about all the dishes was excellent. Highly recommend. Ask for Jessica and order an espresso martini.

Contrary to the information here, they are open on Sundays from 11 am for brunch. Hence, I chose to go there. What a mistake! When I entered the restaurant, the hostess asked me where I wanted to be seated. I requested to sit in the patio. She directed me to a table that was set up for brunch. There were two other tables with customers already seated in the patio. Inside there was only one table with a couple eating their brunch. Three servers came in and out at different times serving those two tables. After 10 minutes of sitting there, another group of 6 people came in and sat at a table in the patio. A total of 11 customers, seated at 4 separate tables in the entire restaurant and yet, between the three servers, two hostess and a bar tender, none bothered to come and take my order within those 20 minutes that I sat there. I’ve never walked out of a place, but I guess there’s always a first.

First time at curate and it did not disappoint. Staff and our waitress were very kind, attentive and helpful. Food was delish my fav being the goats & greens salad, and mushroom medley! Will be returning to try more menu items & specials!
