My son Eddie and I opened Cupini’s in 2003 on Westport Road in Kansas City with one mission; to deliver fresh pasta that is all natural, tastes like my mom used to make and available at a reasonable price. When you walk into an old time store and your not hit in the face with an overpowering smell of Garlic you know it’s going to be Authentic Italian.

The staff was super knowledgeable and offered some great advice and options. I can say they undersold the food because it was amazing. Pretty quick service and unmatched quality around. Prices are reasonable and they have a unique menu. Can’t wait to make it back there again to see what they are cooking up.

Cupini’s! We love coming down to to KCMO and eating here! My husband gets the three cheese tortellini every time and I get the spaghetti and meatballs. Every time we eat here it’s fantastic! Everything is so fresh! We love the homemade baguettes (get a whole one you won’t regret it). It’s to die for! The lemoncello is strong but that’s a good thing! Our favorite dessert is the flourless chocolate cake. The inside seating area can get a little loud during busy times like evenings. We enjoy sitting on the patio during lunch! Patio in the evening is also great with live music some nights! Chef’s kiss and kudos to everyone who works there!

Kansas City Gem Cupini’s what a fantastic Italian restaurant!! It sure is a little place but the flavors are huge! I live in Chicago where l’ve had some of the best Italian food…”l tell you straight up Cupini’s can compete all the pasta is made fresh In house, the sauces are delicious. I definitely went out the box and got the spaghetti squash dish, needed something different to much KC BBQ…but I’m happy I did it was amazing in flavor and spaghetti had perfect texture it was kinda crazy actually. My wife still makes this dish at home that’s how much she loved it! Service was on point felt very welcomed. 100% recommend!

Two of my kids and myself ate at Cupini’s on Westport Rd Saturday night. I had the chicken and prosciutto tortellini, as I always do, and it was fantastic! My daughter at the tagliatelle with pesto and chicken. Pasta and pesto got rave reviews. Chicken left something to be desired. My son has the chicken panini. He has the same review of the chicken. Overall, I love Cupini’s and recommend.

Great service and excellent prices. The quality was good and just a notch below great. The knots were lacking on flavor, the pasta was good but sausage was great. The ravioli was delicious. Worth a stop in.

I was on a quest for first-class cannolis the other day. Cupini’s was rated very highly and located on the west side of Westport Road, it was close to my other stop on Belleview.

I had called ahead to be sure they had a few fresh cannolis and they did. In fact, they were making more when I called them. So I felt great and even greater when two things happened: 1) As I turned onto a major thoroughfare, their delivery truck was right ahead of me, leading the way. 2) I mentioned that it was my birthday, and my cannoli was free! Yay!

Cupini’s is one of those spots that feels welcoming the second you walk in. We love their back patio, it has a cozy feel and the live music always adds a fun touch. Their pizzas are amazing, the kind you keep thinking about later, and the margaritas are always solid. The staff is friendly and quick, and you can tell they care about the food. Inside they have a deli style setup with fresh pasta and desserts that make it hard not to grab something extra. The atmosphere is relaxed and never feels rushed, so it is easy to hang out and enjoy. It is a place you look forward to coming back to again and again.

The food is so good! I am here in a work trip and we have ate at this restaurant 2 out of the 4 days. I got the meat ravioli and added alfredo first night. First night I got the Italian cream cake and second time I got the blueberry cheesecake. Both were amazing! Would definitely come back if I was ever in the area again. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
