Ordered the
Carolina Dog- its a popular choice but a bit underwhelming due to the amount of coleslaw on the dog. The chili to coleslaw ratio could be worked on a bit.

Chicago Dog- classic straightforward Chi-town hotdog with a good snap when biting into it.

Arepa de Pabellon- was good but a very heavy meal. They ran out of black beans but I think that is what would have pulled the flavors together.

French Fries- were the crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside fries. They came out very hot and were so delicious.

Overall great staff at Masas and Cupids Hot Dogs. Lisa was great in educating me for both menu options.

So excited about this spot ! Tried it for the first time and we couldn’t be happier with the food and friendliness of the staff.
But you guys … the chili cheese fries ? The best I’ve ever had. The fries are so crispy and the chili is a cheff kiss . Our food was so good we opted for another dog. ‍↔️

Food was very good! Young lady at the register was very nice, and the atmosphere is great! Not sure how long the restaurant has been open, but wish I had come here sooner!

Delicious hotdogs without the insane price! The service is fairly quick and the employees are super nice. It’s a smaller shop but there’s good places to sit. The hotdogs taste really good and are the perfect size with a great snap if that’s what you’re in to! It’s hard to find a hotdog place that doesn’t have insane prices for what winds up being tiny dogs. Aside from the mains, their fries are OUT OF THIS WORLD! I believe that they may be considered “battered”, but honestly i could care less because they are crispy, perfectly salted, and genuinely some of the best fries ive ever had.

We had the Chicago Dog and it was liget down to the poppy seed bun which was very good. The chilli was definitely one of the best . Make sure to stop here for excellent food and quick service.

I was hoping this would be like Arbetters in Miami – an institution! Well…. no.
Cupids offers average to good hot dogs at an average price. I passed on their somewhat pricey sides though. No complaints and I did enjoy the two different dogs that I tried (one with chili the other with sauced red onion). In the end though, a specialized restaurant needs to offer “something” special. Furthermore, closing at 7:00 p.m. will be restaurant suicide for them?! If I’m dying for average hot dogs, I can drive through Checkers and pay less…. AND they’re open late. As I see it, Cupid’s Hot Dogs better pivot quickly if they “relish” staying open for long.

I had the Chili, cheese fries and the Chili dog and they were excellent. It was my first time but definitely not my last. Even after the sale the staff were attentive and engaging in conversation. I definitely would recommend this place.

Ok since this place just opened, I’ll give you what I think could be improved and what is good from a consumers prospective.
The Good..
The hot dogs were very flavorful and the buns nice and soft and warm . Prob the best onion rings I’ve tasted in quite awhile. Lots of options for things to put on the dogs. Also the people working were very friendly.

What i would improve on…

The garbage can is very awkward and there is no place to put the baskets. I wouldn’t put the spoons and forks in the same bin so people don’t have to go digging with their dirty hands to get what their looking for. The pricing is a little strange. The chili was solid hot dog chili but a 4 dollar upcharge in place of fries for a tiny little cup of chili i think is way too much. Some of the decor is cool but it’s overshadowed by very very dirty windows which need a deep professional stripping and cleaning.

Final edit 11/30: Y’all wrote an essay addressing absolutely anything other than the only interaction we’re referring to. We walked in, checked the place out and thought the old school feel was cool. There is a self order kiosk in the corner that had a sign saying “not working today.” I ask any of their employees standing there if it still doesn’t work because I don’t know when this place opened and I received no VERBAL response. I then begin making my order in the self kiosk machine, one of your female employees says that the kiosk machine is not working. I then say “sorry I didn’t know if the machine was still working or not” she replied “yeah we just hang stuff up for fun” in a condescending attitude. I replied “I asked earlier and no one gave me a response” she replied “I pointed at the sign.” I dropped it, said nothing after that and waited my turn to order because I just wanted lunch from this restaurant I’ve been waiting for. Clearly pointing your finger at a sign is not a (VERBAL) response, I also did not see her point initially. Anything else you address is irrelevant noise that was never the issue that matters. All of this could have been easily avoided if any of your employees simply replied “no” when I asked originally. The business owners here have no interest in basic respect or accountability. Really bad look overall for a new local business. Maybe this is why your Lee Road location closed down too, because the hot dogs are subpar or the customer service is somehow worse than the food. My final verdict: I spent $12.57 on 2 hotdogs that were mid at best and was still a little hungry. Both your wallet and stomach will genuinely thank you if you just ordered a hot dog from your average Home Depot or downtown Orlando where real local hot dog gems exist there.

Rude blonde woman at the register today, she clearly looked like she didn’t want to be there today. I asked a genuine question if their machine works to make orders and received no response. All she did was make a hand gesture that I didn’t see, then she makes a rude remark out loud and it’s just so unprofessional. I seriously kept up with this business for this past year waiting for them to open and this is how they are. Forget this place. Clean the tables too please. I’ve officially ate both the Chicago and Cupid chili dog. The chili was good, they were small hot dogs, and everything else was forgettable. You’re better off going to downtown Orlando if you’re looking for great hot dogs.
