I have been to Cupertino’s many times, and it has also been fairly consistent and pretty good food, not my favorite but definitely not the worst. However, last time I came in I was extremely disappointed. My bagel was flat, had not risen and was hard but still somehow chewy. It was so small and the fact that whoever was working thought it was acceptable to hand us this with a straight face is absurd, especially since we had tipped 20% at the cash register. I don’t think I will ever be going back.

Great Experience in this spot!
One of the biggest separator for these types of shops are the BREAD! The breads are great here – I had an Italian Hoagie and an Everything Bagelwich with egg for wifey, and both breads are great! Hefty portions of cold cuts, great bread:meat:vege:dressing ratio for the sandwich! I would definitely try the other sandwiches/options in the menu.

I just want to preface this with that I love Cupertinos and think that they are a very respectable establishment. I have been going here for so long and discovered this place a few years back, this visit today left me a bit disappointed.
Service is always fast, which I love. Got to the register and asked for a scooped salted bagel toasted with pastrami, and extra scallion, nothing too crazy. Then an Asiago toasted with scallion as well. Maybe the woman up front was overwhelmed, but when I told her the first bagel order followed by the second, I guess she didn’t here the second and said “could you repeat the 2nd order… I was typing in things for the first one because it was a lot…” shrugged it off, she’s probably just overwhelmed; but in my opinion unnecessary to say.
Came home, my bagel was not toasted at all, still looked appetizing and was good, but not like the normal quality. My husband’s was very underdone (the bagel itself) I took a bite out of it and it almost tasted raw. Plus, there was barely any Asiago cheese on it, probably a few flakes of cheese here and there. Again, they might have been overwhelmed or have so much going on, so I completely understand to a degree. They’re well known for their quality, and today wasn’t up to par, which I did not expect 🙁

This place is awesome and we’re lucky to have them in our area! Everything we’ve tried so far has been excellent. My wife is a health nut and meticulously goes over every ingredient list and was thrilled to find a place that meets her strict standards! And I was thrilled I could eat bagels again! haha Doing things the right way these days should be celebrated so cheers to the whole team at Cupertinos! We appreciate y’all!

This place is AMAZING!!! I love Cupertino’s bagels! Especially their chicken, egg, & cheese! Wait, there’s more… let me tell you about their cinnamon donuts. Omg, it’s by far the best donut I have ever had the guilty pleasure of eating! I live 40 minutes away and I don’t mind heading there for some good food and good customer service! Trust me, you will not regret their food.

Absolutely incredible and tasty bagels. The lumberjack tasted like a Philly cheesesteak style breakfast sandwich, which was arguably one of the best bagel breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Staff are super friendly. I’d take a picture of the sandwich but I devoured it lol. Will definitely be going back!

Feels like a very typical New York Bagel Joint. Which is exactly wha I want. No gimmicks, no need to make it anything extra. Bagel place, outstanding bagels, and a ham, egg, and cheese on an everything that hits the spot. 100% will be stoping here anytime I’m driving down this way.

10/10 – any other bagel place in Richmond is a joke compared to Cupertinos. Freshly made bagels, large variety, old school vibes, nothing posh or fancy. Just what you expect from a bagel shop. The regular breakfast sandwiches have a thin egg, so I recommend getting the Lumberjack. And dont skip on the Super Cinnamon or the Egg Everything!

Cupertino’s has some of the best bagels you can find in west end Richmond! I’ve had the oppportunity to try the poppyseed, garlic, sesame seed and (on my recent venture) the egg bagel! Which was really really good! I got it with the chive cream cheese, lettuce, onion, and tomato. Highly recommend. I also tried their Manhattan sandwich. Something seemed like it was missing. The coleslaw and meat was good but it needed one more thing with it. Fries on the side were average. Not bad, not breathtaking. And finally a piece of Crumb Cake for dessert- oh my goodness. Moist and the perfect amount of sweet. I’ll be back to explore more of the menu!
