I was very exciting to try this place after seeing it on Facebook. I ordered 4 cupcakes the icing was hard and they didnt taste fresh. The cake part didnt have much taste and the icing was too much and hard. A little disappointed, had high hopes. For the price almost 4.25 for each I thought it would be fresh and yummy but no.

The Dubai chocolate cupcake was the best cupcake I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m a chocolate cake/cupcake addict, so I don’t leave this review lightly. The cake was perfectly baked and the frosting/pistachio proportions were perfect… it was magical. It was so flavorful that words can’t even describe it. I can’t wait to go back and try all of the other flavors!

I used to believe Georgetown Cupcake was the only reliable gourmet cupcake spot in Massachusetts. That was until I discovered Cupcake City in Reading. I initially came across them while doing some research, and I was immediately impressed by the photos—the attention to detail and quality looked on par with Georgetown Cupcake.
After purchasing a half dozen, I can confidently say they more than lived up to expectations. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious—the buttercream was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and the cupcakes themselves were moist and flavorful. They also offer a great variety of flavors to choose from.
Overall, I had a 10/10 experience and wouldn’t hesitate to refer others or order from them again for future events. Cupcake City is definitely a hidden gem worth checking out!

I ordered a variety of vegan cupcakes for my birthday and they were absolutely amazing! I was blown away. Not only do they taste great, but they’re very well decorated and super cute. My husband handled the ordering and pickup and said it was a total breeze and the service was excellent. My favorite cupcake so far has been the cookie butter flavor.

Ordered these for a Bachelorette party and they were a hit! The cupcakes are not overly sweet, moist, and taste amazing! I ordered most of the flavors they have on hand and some of their summer specials (oreo, salted caramel, carrot cake, red velvet, peanut butter, cookie dough.. this are the ones I remember). Everyone loved them. I definitely plan on coming back to try some of their specials!

I am so disappointed in these cupcakes! We ordered these for my birthday. The peanut butter cupcakes were definitely not fresh. The frosting was hard and crusty. It crumbled off the cupcake and definitely did not taste anything like peanut butter. There is suppose to be a fudge filling inside as well, these had no filling. On the hostess cupcake there was literally a dot of filling barely anything (see the pic I attached). I drove all the way there 40min. I was so excited for my favorite peanut butter cupcake. We bought 19 cupcakes cost us $73! More expensive than a cake.

Cupcake City cupcakes are always such a hit for a crowd. One of our staple flavors is lemon (SO GOOD). Otherwise we rotate and have not been disappointed. Latest batch we tried was lemon, Oreo, carrot, and pumpkin. All delicious! A bit pricey but worth it cuz you can tell they put care into each one.

We had Cupcake City food truck at our annual summer party last Saturday, and they were an absolute delight!
We ordered 150 cupcakes, featuring six fantastic varieties, and every single flavor was a hit with our guests. My personal favorites were the bright and tangy lemon and the unique, delicious Italian cookie flavors. The price was also right, shockingly comparable to the ice cream truck that we often use for dessert.
The employee working the truck did an excellent job handing out these absolutely scrumptious cupcakes. He was not only friendly and efficient but also quite funny, adding a wonderful touch to the party. We especially appreciated that he was kind enough to box up the leftovers for our guests to take home.
Our guests loved having such a fun and delicious alternative to the usual ice cream truck we often hire. Cupcake City provided a memorable and sweet experience for everyone. We highly recommend them for any event where you want delicious, high-quality cupcakes and fantastic service!
