But that’s where it ends. Nearly without fail (approximately 90% of our visits) something is messed up. Recently I got a cupbob and the protien was completely missing. This time it took nearly 15 minutes to get our K-dawg after the rest of our food was prepared. Frequently I have items or ingredients missing when I get home with my food.
The staff aren’t mean, but they’re definitely not friendly. While we were there today, another customer (who was very clearly stressed but quiet) was completely dismissed by staff. Coordination and communication between staff members was noticeably lacking. There wasn’t even anyone behind the counter when we came in, and there were two other customers waiting.
We ordered fountain drinks. When the cashier handed us the cups, she dropped them on her side of the counter and proceeded to pick them up and hand them to me. No critical thinking or regard for food safety. I had to ask for new cups and had to clarify that I wanted something that wasn’t on the floor.
25% of their soda options were out of order, and all of their bottled Diet Coke was over a month beyond expiration.
Music is also controlled by the staff. Most of the time we were there the music was either off completely or skipping in and out while the last shift left.
The restaurant itself felt disgusting. Scuffed up walls and counters, tables that had a greasy film, chairs that likely hadn’t been adequately cleaned in months.
The entire time the staff goofed off and talked. They didn’t even attempt to clean, prep, or practice. One even farted audibly and said “I don’t even care, bro,” to other employee who chided him for it.
Really very disappointing. I love the food but coming to this location is a disaster. If you’re looking for a good experience, try a different Cupbob location.
Hint. Go to an asian store and get sweet potato noodles and google the sauces easily. Unfortunately not worth the cost anymore.
The bowl is a big wider but much shallower, and the food didn’t even fill up this bowl.
While eating our dinner, I saw a large poster that said the Kids Bop was only $3.99 if you ordered a regular cup bop. I went up and asked them why I was charged $5.95 instead of $3.99, and they said, “oh, you have to ask for that discount before we’ll give it to you.“
So frustrating! We won’t be back to the Harriman location.
