I saw this place on Shark Tank and wanted to try it for years. I really appreciate the awesome staff at the CupBop at The Village for giving me one of the worst food experiences I have ever had in my life. There is no way in hell. Food was just as bland as it wants to be. Korean fried chicken tasted like breakfast sausage. The tofu was good though, I’ll give them that. They also need to stop relying on the sauce to save the meal, person up front was damn near putting a whole bottle on every meal. Season the food like you mean it and you ain’t gotta do all that. Overall, the whole meal was disappointing. I’ve literally had food in prison with more flavor than this. And don’t look at the pictures and let them fool you. The food is not worth it. I’m trying to tell y’all

Maybe I came at at bad time of day… It was about 8pm. I was the only customer. Took about 5 minutes for the two employees to finish cleaning (?) and whatever else they were doing to finally help me. I ordered the beef cupboards meal. I had to wait about 5 minutes for fresh noodle, no problem I said. Got my order and headed home. I got home to eat and noticed when I went to mix my bowl up that there was no meat! None! There was no extra sauce for the potstickers either. No time to run back before they closed so I tried calling at 8:45pm. The call goes straight to the answering machine that tells me to call back during business hours and then states there business hours and that they are open until 9pm.
So, not a great first impression. I was willing to forgive the initial slow customer service. But forgetting to add the meat, the extra sauce and then more bad customer service by not answering the phone during business hours… I can’t recommend this place, nor will I be going back.

Fast and friendly service. The regular cupbop size is very filling- with 2 meats, rice noodles and vegetables. Great option for speed but also relatively healthy.

I was excited to try this place. I ordered the beef and crispy chicken and really enjoyed it. I typically like spicy food and I ordered mine a seven and a half and to be honest with you it was pretty spicy. I mean it wasn’t overbearing but I can’t imagine how spicy the number 10 is. The lady working there was very nice and welcoming. She advised me to try the seven and a half. Next time I’ll order just a little bit of lower spiciness to get the perfect amount. The inside is very nice and they do have some tables available for outside seating. Make sure you shake your bowl to mix it up properly before you eat it. I recommend giving this place a try.

This location has no issues serving burnt protien and lukewarm food to patrons. Even the Mandoo was soggy and lukewarm with who knows how long it sat in the warmer. They seem to also be understaffed for a weekend at a busy shopping location. Their food warmers clearly aren’t keeping food at temperature and the quality sucks. I’d pass on spending $30 to eat here. That’s way too much for the little bit of meat they do add, maybe 1/3 cup which was dry and burnt. The poor food quality and then the staff is rude. You can’t even comment and inquire cause they don’t care to make it right. Take your money and business elsewhere.

Yikes!! We will stay away from this location. Arrived at 7:30pm to 2 employees obviously bothered by our presence. They did not take our correct order, told us it would be an extra 5 minutes for tofu but it turned into 30minutes of a wait, no offers to comp the forgotten side of noodles, no apologies and 2 kids waiting which if you know kids…they don’t wait so well. They placed the food on the counter for those 30 minutes so everything was cold when it did finally arrive. The attitude of the staff was the worst part. I mean she was mad at us for ordering. We love the downtown location! Such a shame. I attempted to reach out to the company but have heard nothing back. It was a waste of time and money!!

What went from bad to worse. Cupbop has seriously gone down hill. Everytime we order something is missing and this was the last straw.
We ordered through Uber and the driver picked up and delivered the wrong order. I drove down to the chinden location and let them know what happened and they remade the order “fresh” and gave it to us no charge. Thank you “Toby” and “Jose” (they laughed and exchanged a look when settling on names) for “honoring” our order even when it wasn’t on you.
Update: got the food home and the meat was still icy on the inside and one of our meals was just sauce and rice. No noodles or veggies to be found. I know the meat would have been hot when getting home because the mandoos they made was still almost too hot to eat at home. To top it off the sauce smell coming out of my food and drenching everything smelt and tasted like burnt plastic.
Needless to say I preferred a bowl of cinnamon life cereal over what I was presented with too.

Did this place get bought out? LONG TIME fan of this place but the food quality had dropped significantly. My gf and I obsessed over this place for years but the last 2 times have been horrendous and we could not finish our bowls this time around. Seems the workers are always fooling around in the back and don’t greet customers anymore.

The chicken was way too rubbery, the noodles so thin, the sauce too watery The store looks ran down and dirty. It sucks we’ll likely never get to experience the Cupbop we fell in love with ever again.

When I first walked in I said hello and received no hi, hello ,anything, I walked up to the counter and watched one employee make eye contact with me then continue talking to another employee. I had then waited for a couple minutes to be served… mind you I’m the only customer in the store. I had requested extra sauce which I didn’t receive so I had to wave down one of the three workers that were walking out the back of the store were I was greeted by Aliya with and under her breath “oh my god”. Sorry to interrupt your vape break I just wanted the extra sauce I was promised.

We had a gentleman named Kevin serve us our food, he was absolutely wonderful! My husband and our five kids enjoyed his attitude and conversation. Something you don’t see much nowadays. That alone is enough of a reason to come back. The kids love having a fun yummy meal every once in a while and having him around was just a cherry on top!
