First, the coffee was very tasty. Among the best I’ve had. Comparable to Press or Bean Traders though possibly better. I had a decaf vanilla cortado with their homemade vanilla syrup which she mentioned they don’t always have. I asked for more syrup after tasting and they were very accommodating. Because of which I was able to achieve the perfect cup. ☕️✨

I went on a rainy Sunday in February with no events around 1:30pm and there was no line with about 4-6 customers sitting around.
The stairs to the left of the counter lead to an upper balcony with seating and a good view of the haw river.
There is also a patio deck off of the main coffee shop floor that also has a view of the Haw.
There are ramps to the door level and the tables are not tightly packed. I believe a wheelchair would have no trouble. Albeit no access to the upper balcony except stairs.
Unfortunately I did not take more pictures but there are many already posted.

In the area visiting family and stopped here for a quick morning pick me up. Great coffee and legit industrial vibes with plenty of indoor seating and shared lower event space and balcony to meet friends/family at. Staff were pleasant and wished we could have spent more time. Cheers!

This spot has the most rustic view inside, and a great view of the outside terrain. It was an incredible writing spot. However, the music got loud with punk rock dropping f bombs. It ruined the writing mood and I was surprised they let that fly with a bunch of young kids in the shop.

My wife and I tried this local coffee shop for the first time today and I’ve got to say, what an amazing experience and location. Our barista Nicky was kind, personal, and cool under pressure. My wife loved the chai latte, well-balanced and aromatic. I had the best mocha of my life. Definitely will be returning and can’t wait to attend our first show here!

I considered not leaving a review but we used to regularly drop in to Cup 22 when I was in the area and unfortunately after a few bad experiences haven’t been back.
Specifically there’s one young man with bangs who is nice enough but has been the barista working the past couple of times. He’s generally stressful to order from and the lattes l’ve gotten from him are consistently not right. It’s poor customer service to take orders then go on your phone for five minutes before starting on them, especially when there’s a line. To then get the drink and it’s bad feels unacceptable. They need to get this figured out.

This weekend was my wife and I’s first time stopping in! Maeren was so friendly and made us both great lattes. It’s a little bit out of our way, but we’ll definitely be back.

Well I wanted to enjoy a coffee at a new spot I never tried before. Guess I won’t be trying it It says you all close at 5pm… ya’ll were closed at 4:25pm. We bypassed several other places along our route we could’ve stopped, but detoured to you guys. We were super bummed to drive 45 minutes out of the way to visit this coffee shop (that was supposed to be open until 5pm-per the listing online and the paper on the door). We arrived at 4:18…stood at the door & stared at the closed sign. Another person arrived at 4:20, saw the sign and said, “aww man, that’s the second week in a row!”
There was no note on the door indicating an emergency or staffing issue—Just a closed sign and locked door. There were people sitting in the shop and the barista was behind the counter cleaning up.
Maybe consider updating your hours.

Cool rural little coffee shop. Nitro cold brew was really good, my first time trying it. Friendly staff, has an outdoor seating area w a great view – it’s located right next to the river which has a nice trail you can walk down while drinking your coffee 🙂
