Best food I’ve had on this Tennessee trip! We drove about 35 minutes from our airbnb to eat here and it was SO WORTH IT! Quaint breakfast spot with very kind staff. The BEST scotch eggs I’ve ever had and served with a mustard aioli that just completes the dish. The Fred eggs Benedict was delicious. Thick piece of ham that was like cutting through butter. Paired with the cheddar grits, which were also amazing! If you’re in the area and a foodie this place is a MUST! They also had chocolate gravy… yes that’s correct… chocolate! We didn’t try it but I’m sure it’s great.

Fun fact… there’s a QR code in the front at the hostess stand and in the bathroom for 25% off your first meal if you sign up for texts! Make sure you tip good, this place is well worth it! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Food was great. The we started with the Scotch Eggs, so good. I split a big burger with my boy and the chicken and waffle with two eggs since it was first time there and wanted to sample some. I do it all again. Had two you ladies serving and they couldn’t have been better.

Stopped in for breakfast as we headed to Short Mountain Distillery. We were greeted when we entered and immediately seated. We places our drink orders and the server gave us some time to look over the menu.

They definitely have a good variety and some unique offerings. I ordered the supreme omelet and swapped out the ham for the spicy sausage. My husband ordered the Billy Nelson. We both got biscuits for our side and a side of home fries to share.

Our food came out pretty quickly and was the perfect temperature. The home fries were seasoned perfectly. My omelet was delicious, it was more of a scramble, but still delicious. The meats were all very flavorful and the veggies were perfect except the mushrooms which were either canned or overcooked. My husband’s Benedict was good, with a good variety of flavors. The sweet potatoes were a bit under cooked and the poached eggs were a bit overcooked, but otherwise tasted good. The biscuits were delicious.

Our server was great. She gave us time to review the menu and make a decision, she checked on us appropriately and refilled drinks as needed.

There are two restrooms, one was out of service. Street parking was okay on a Friday morning on the one way street.

If you’re in the area and looking for a good spot for breakfast, I’d recommend them!

Service was slow and I was by myself. Also, traveling as much as I have and dining out I always make sure to point at the menu and read the entree out loud when ordering so there is no issue. My order was input wrong so instead of Fried Chicken smothered in gravy, country fries, toast with over easy eggs, add bacon I received half. The Fried chicken and country fries came out after I was done with the first half. I get there is off days but an apology only instead of “I’m sorry only been back two days,” is an excuse. Also, “country fries” and chicken were over fried. First time customer so I will give a second chance in the future when back in town.

This is a must visit if you are in McMinnville. The food is not the biggest seller here, but the atmosphere is awesome, the location doesn’t get much better if you are walking around “Downtown” and the service is really good. The biscuits were very good. I had a pair of egg and cheese biscuits and they hit the spot. The potatoes and grits were a little bland, but everything else made up for it. The price is probably the best part of the whole experience. Definitely a spot you should dine in at. I don’t think the experience would be as good if it were take out.

We came into town from Rock Island to check this biscuit house out. We always love s good biscuit and I’d say theirs is up to par. My meal was great and Trudy’s was ok (according to her). She ordered the veggie omelette.

Outrageously priced average food. You typically don’t pay this much at resorts on vacation. Their food is boring.

Cumberland Biscuit Company is a must-visit breakfast spot in McMinnville! The food and service are both wonderful — exactly what you hope for in a great local restaurant. I ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy, eggs over easy, and home fries, and every bite delivered. The biscuits? Absolutely live up to the name — fluffy, fresh, and totally worth the trip.

Food was served late & cold, we had to reorder 1 meal because it was not delivered. The cost was expensive. Parking was tough and around the corner, tough on disabled people.

I dropped in on my way back from Lowe’s to grab a coffee and biscuit sandwich. I didn’t call it in just walked in, they had my coffee and biscuit ready in under 5 minutes. Not only was it fast it was excellent and the staff was super friendly and polite. I will definitely be back.
