Culver’s is always busy on Friday evenings, especially during Lent. I decided to give the walleye special a try. The meal smelled really good and it tasted as good as fish can taste. (I am not a fish fan!) The fish did have quite a few bones in it, which was disappointing but completely understandable. It is a fish for goodness sake! The cole slaw was delicious and I always love the crinkle cut fries. The cost was a little steep for a fast food restaurant at $50 for 3 pieces of fish and six shrimp. It was a decent experience, just not one that I personally will likely replicate.

We placed a catering order in advance for a club meeting at KSU. The ordering/payment process was easy, and the staff were helpful and made sure that our allergen orders would be prepared correctly. However, when we came to pick up the order 2 days later at the scheduled time, we had to wait 30 minutes past the scheduled time for the order to be prepared. The food that we did receive was good, but we didn’t receive the correct number of fries, or any of the condiments we requested.

Five of us. Cashier was prompt and friendly. Got all our additions and removals perfect on our burgers and chicken sandwich. Food was very good, hot and fresh. Was checked on by different people about our meals. Customer service was outstanding.

Food is always hot and tasty. Staff is friendly, and recognizes regular visitors, sometimes by name, which surprised me. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. I appreciate that they offer seasonal options along with their standard menu.

Today I got carry out for the first time. They were pretty busy and I know people are human. I don’t know why but I had a preconceived notion that Culver’s was in the top tier of fast food and nothing bad happens there so I didn’t thoroughly check my order before I left. Actually it wasn’t that bad but I got two of the Walleye dinners and both dinners were missing the coleslaw. Other than not getting a complete meal my wife and I were super happy. The staff is super nice and otherwise did a great job. The fish was amazing good and the tartar sauce complimented it well. I would definitely go back and try other offerings but be a little more careful next time and either eat in or check the order.

We placed a catering order for a swine club meeting at KSU College of Veterinary Medicine and everything was perfect. Very friendly staff, the food was done right when we were told it would be, and paying for it was quick and painless. We were also able to get allergy friendly options very easily. I would 100% recommend culver’s Manhattan for any catering order!

The food is usually good but we have had some issues over time. One time we got caramel cashew sundaes that were extremely salty and inedible. My main reason for the one star review is that I do not think they have ever gotten our order right. We have probably eaten there 10 times since they opened and there is always one items missing from the order.

Horrible, on the way to see my daughter at Via Christi hospital after she had given birth, decided to run through the drive thru, get to the hospital only to find my whole shrimp dinner was not in the bag, my oldest daughter drove back, with her receipt in hand, manager said, I was wondering when you would be back! No apology, no excuses, no nothing. Will never go to Culver’s in Manhattan, paying 75.00 only to have food missing. Also, I have let most of Council Grove not to go to Culver’s. Horrible service! You should be ashamed!

This particular Culver’s location is still pretty new and seems to be figuring things out. It meets Culver’s standards for food and I haven’t had a bad food experience yet. But service is usually slow and often feels understaffed or staffing priority is off. For example I have had to wait 10 minutes in the lobby for someone to scoop my ice cream only order, and alternately in the drive through I watched my custard melt into soup before they finally handed it through the window lol. Despite all that service is friendly! Also be aware the owner is open carrying a firearm. Not a problem for me but it feels off for a Culver’s!

Ordered on the app. Checked in when I got there. There was no space in the curbside parking stalls. Waited 20min then called them. I was told it wouldnt be cold bcuz its kept in a heater. My burger was barely lukewarm. My chili cheese fries were closest thing to cold and the box was just as soggy as the fries. Its really not that hard to look around for a vehicle if they’re checked in and you dont see it. It used to be worth $20 for a quick meal. Now I’d say its not quick and not worth it
