The burgers are every bit as good as Five Guy’s but without the overpricing. Their rings and crinkle-cut fries are great, and my wife is fairly addicted to their cheese curds. As for dessert, who doesn’t love their line up of frozen custard treats? A huge step up from MacDonald’s, Wendy’s, or Burger King (not only in food quality but in cleanliness and quality of service too), and all for about the same price, too.

As a highly rated Google reviewer with almost 10 million views take my word that this Culver’s location is a definite must try. I went to this Culver’s State Line Rd Location and was very, very impressed with the friendly staff and service they provided. I order their famous North Atlantic Cod sandwich and it is hands down the best Fish Sandwich I’ve ever had from any restaurant. It was made to order and hand dipped in a very tasty batter which was delicious with just the right amount of crunch in every bite. The Cod inside was cooked just right and was tender, fresh, and I wish I would of ordered another one as well to take back home with me to Emporia. Their Onion rings are super tasty as well and were fresh, hot, and have this amazing taste that lets you know that Culver’s cares about their products and put their customers first. This is my new favourite Culver’s location in the South KC, Johnson County Metro area .I will be definitely returning for another Fish Sandwich when I go up there again in a couple weeks. Don’t pass this Culver’s by on State Line Road because it’s a place that will treat you like you’re meant to be treated which is a satisfied customer. Thank you Culver’s for the wonderful experience. 5 Stars across the board. Keep up the stellar service.

Driving between Dr. appointments in a different section of town, we were delighted to see the familiar Culver’s logo. There was only one car in line and as we hadn’t eaten that morning, our mouths started watering for their Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp and the fully loaded Reuben. Their Butter burgers are so good, as Culver’s prepares food items as they are ordered, ensuring freshness!
Although we were in a bit of a hurry, it was around lunch time so the shrimp shouldn’t take too long to fry and the Reuben just needed assembling with a quick grill. Fifteen minutes later, only two more cars behind us, finally the server brings our food out to curbside. We had the tip ready and pulled off as soon as she passed us the sack. Our next stop was just down the road so we had a few minutes to enjoy our food.
We opened the sack only to be so disappointed with the quality of both items! Check out the pictures. The Reuben was almost burnt on both sides of the bread, and opening it up, the corned beef appeared to be the ends, just bits & pieces which contained so much of the fat. The shrimp looked okay, but it was cold like it had sat for a while and chewy once you got through the batter. We didn’t have time to return to the Culver’s right then, but attempted to call them only to get a busy signal. We have eaten at several Culvers in multiple states & fortunately had wonderful food experiences so we will continue to the franchise. Just not at the MO/KAN State Line Location

I have to say that eating here was a bor. The food was bland, the burger was dry ( and ive been here a few times to see if it was just the day or the cook) but sadly its all bland food. I would say tasteless. The only redeeming quality is the root beer soda and some of the ice cream. But the overall food i would say meh ♂️ I thankful I don’t have to go back & eat it again.

Upgrading to a meal for $1 is saving 87% on sides. Just make sure to grab salt pepper and butter for your broccoli.
P.s. a $15 platter is almost enough for 2

It’s what you expect. Solid food, served up in a good presentation. They need to train the staff to talk to the customer, smile, interact, look you in the eye. They were very stiff, but minimally polite so that’s a good start.

My first impression was how clean it was – no napkins on the floor, straws, etc. and my order was immediately taken, made correctly (only cheese and ketchup on the burger), and the milkshake was out to me within a few minutes. This type of service is needed when you are on lunch break and need to be back soon. I’ll definitely be back.

This was our first time at a Culver’s. The food wasn’t bad but wasn’t outstanding either. I really wanted a hot dog, and they only have corn dogs, hamburgers, chicken, fish, salads, and various other food items. It just seems odd that they would have all of that and not have regular hot dogs. The store was clean, and the waitress was very friendly and pleasant. If you aren’t a hot dog fan, then I recommend you give Culver’s a try.

I love Culver but a few days ago I went and this was the second time the staff has disappointed me. She was taking my order and the woman left me standing there mid-sentence because someone else yelled that her baby was crying and she went to check on the baby I guess Besides her terrible English the problem last time was that she didn’t understand when I asked for a sandwich and gave me a piece of fish. It was awful. I told an older lady that this woman wasn’t nice to customers and the question here is who brings their children to work? Why does the manager or owner allow that?
