Second dining experience was a 4 star. The order-taker was not friendly.. hardly no eye contact, no smile. The meal cost over $30 and my sandwich bun was suspiciously older or heated up more than one time and the lettuce/dressing combo was very wilted and messy. It was disappointing as I don’t eat out a lot. The fries were good. The drink was good. The restaurant environment seemed 4 star too. I felt it was starting to totter downhill, but I could be wrong. The guy who delivered our meal was very cheerful and nice. Maybe next time it will be better.

Don’t order their veggie burger they have no idea what they’re doing. It’s not supposed to be black and it probably is because they tried cooking it like a regular burger so it’s totally burnt.

Swung through the drive-thru at Culver’s in Carbondale and grabbed a Double ButterBurger with Cheese and some cheese curds and honestly, it hit the spot.
The burger was hot, super juicy, and had that buttery bun that just makes the whole thing come together. You can tell it’s made fresh, not something that’s been sitting around. The cheese curds were amazing too perfectly fried and gooey inside. Definitely not your average fast food.
Service was quick and friendly, and my order was spot on. If you’re in the area and want something way better than the usual drive-thru fare, this place is it.

My family comes to Culver’s after family night SIU the manger was rude. We ordered almost $50 of food. I order a shrimp with fries. I just assumed it came with a drink. Once I pay I asked her dinner didn’t come with a drink he said no. I then said when a drink doesn’t come with a dinner you could ask if he customer wants a drink. He looked at me like I was crazy. Oh ok and you’re the manager. At this point you should have just given me the cup but if course I paid after I had already placed an order. They aren’t wearing name tags so I don’t know his name. But I will be going to make a complaint with cooperate also. If the manager is rude wonder what the workers are like. Thank God we don’t have to deal with this everyday. Sometimes the customer just wants good no Great service.

I’m used to all the Culvers in Wisconsin, you guys do things differently. I’m not sure why it shouldn’t be the same. I ordered two single scoop dishes tonight through the drive thru. One was flavor of the day, one was another flavor. Why are you giving me half of the portion for over $3? (See picture) you guys gotta care more. I can buy a pint for $5, why is the portion always so rediculous? There’s always something that needs more attention every time we come here, whether it’s a meal or dessert.

I must send a special shout-out to Manager De’Ante at the Culver’s in Carbondale, IL. I rarely eat out, but my money goes to Culver’s butter burger when I crave fast food. If you have never had one, you are missing a mouth full of YUM! Last night, I went through the drive-thru and ordered my meal with special instructions. When I got home, I realized the order wasn’t correct. I ate the fries and ice cream and counted it as a loss. Well, as I was returning from a trip this afternoon, I went by Culver’s again. I was still needing that butter-burger itch scratched. Unfortunately, my order was made incorrect again. This time, I saved the burger, and after a brief nap, I drove back to Carbondale, determined to get my burger. As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted by Manager De’Ante. I explained what had happened and asked for a replacement meal.
I didn’t want to go another day without that delicious burger. De’Ante repeated my order to ensure it would be done correctly, then told his team to begin the preparation of my meal. I am happy to report that the Culver’s team got it right this time! We all have bad days, so I try to grant grace when something goes awry, and I love it when a restaurant is responsive and willing to correct its mistakes. Not only did I get my food hot and fresh, but unlike when I went through the drive-thru, I could see how beautiful the restaurant was inside. I was impressed with the accessibility and cleanliness as well.
As you can see from the attached photos, the restaurant and lot are clean, well-lit, and extremely inviting. I recommend you go to Culver’s for a delicious meal. When you stop in, tell them Kindra Speech sent you!

Good food. Good service. Soda machines have mold and you can taste it, it tastes like dirt. I tried root beer first, tasted like dirt. Tried plain water next and it was even worse. Health hazard. Dont drink that.
