I’ve never had such a ridiculous and disrespectful experience at a fast-food restaurant in my life. Culver’s managed to turn what should have been a simple stop into a complete joke of customer service. I was wrongfully accused of stealing soda when I literally filled my cup with water—nothing else. No soda. No tricks. Just water. Somehow that turned into them treating me like a criminal.

Instead of calmly checking or asking questions like normal adults, the staff immediately jumped to accusations. No proof, no verification, just assumptions. The way I was spoken to was rude, unprofessional, and embarrassing. Then, to make it even worse, they banned me over something I didn’t even do. That’s insane behavior for a restaurant that claims to value hospitality.

If this is how Culver’s handles misunderstandings, then their “Midwest nice” reputation is fake. Accusing paying customers of stealing without evidence shows lazy management and poorly trained staff. It honestly felt like they were more interested in power-tripping than actually serving customers or resolving the situation like professionals.

I’ve spent money here before and recommended this place to others, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other restaurants that don’t accuse their customers of theft over a cup of water. Culver’s needs to seriously rethink how they treat people, because this kind of behavior is unacceptable, embarrassing, and completely uncalled for.

Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that actually respects its customers. They then also sent to police to my house and criminally trespassed me for my entire life. I am lifetime banned from the store and I will never be able to go back not like I want to Maria. The manager was very mean to me and very. Belittling I would like to see her be fired. I don’t know if this review will mean anything or if Culver’s will even see this, but I wanted to warn everyone that has that will go to the store to never go there ever if you don’t want want to be banned don’t ask for a cup of water.

One Star – Unacceptable Treatment and Bizarre Accusations

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Culver’s, specifically due to the appalling behavior of the manager, Maria. What started as a simple request for a cup of water escalated into an unbelievable situation involving accusations, belittlement, a lifetime ban, and ultimately, a police visit to my home.

Upon entering the restaurant, my friend and I proceeded to the counter and asked for a cup of water. We received the water and sat down at a table to enjoy our drinks. Shortly after, we noticed that Maria, the manager, was watching us intently. Her behavior made us increasingly uncomfortable, as it felt like we were being stalked. Eventually, she approached our table and accused us of something we hadn’t done.

We were shocked and confused by the accusation. To prove our innocence, we showed her our cup of water, hoping to clarify the misunderstanding. Instead of listening to our explanation or considering the evidence, Maria dismissed our concerns and continued to belittle us. Her refusal to believe us, despite the clear evidence, was not only insulting but also deeply unprofessional.

To make matters worse, Maria issued us a lifetime ban from the restaurant without providing any reasonable justification. When we requested that she review the security footage to verify our account, she refused, further demonstrating her unwillingness to address the situation fairly. The situation escalated even further when I called the restaurant to inquire about the ban. In response, Maria called the police, who then visited my home over the false accusation of drinking water at Culver’s.

The entire experience was utterly baffling and left us feeling humiliated and unjustly treated. I am appalled by the lack of customer service and the blatant disregard for fairness and common sense displayed by Maria. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the entire establishment. I urge Culver’s corporate to investigate this incident and take appropriate action to ensure that no other customers are subjected to such mistreatment. As a result of this experience, I will never return to this Culver’s location and will discourage others from doing so as well. I’m genuinely appalled to see that this has happened to others at this exact Culver’s location these wild accusations need to stop.

I had their 3 Piece Fish Dinner. It was FANTASTIC. The Mash Potatoes and Cole Slaw went GREAT with it. There was also a Flavorful Roll and Butter, Tangy Tartar Sauce and a Wedge of Lemon to complete the meal. I am planning on getting it again because of the smiles on the faces of the people who served it to me.

Fast and efficient service. Good salad choices. We got the Cranberry Bleu Cheese Salad and it was delicious. Good portions I would say but others may think differently. My daughter and I couldn’t finish half of our salads.

Culver’s in Saint Charles is a great spot for fast food done right. The food was fresh and tasty, and the management clearly takes pride in the place. The atmosphere felt welcoming, everything was very clean, and the staff kept things running smoothly. Perfect stop for a quick and quality meal.

Hi my name is Josh and yesterday I was harassed and discriminated by an employee named Maria. My buddy and I went to the Culver’s yesterday since we’ve been going to this location for quite some time. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with this location! My friend asked for a water cup for his food and Maria said “That better be water because I’m watching you”. My friend and I then proceeded to sit down and start to eat our food but then we were brutally interrupted by Maria again. She came from behind the counter to our table and looked at the cup of water again and proceeded to stick her whole nose in the water cup to make sure its water. After that she proceeded to walk around the restaurant and “spy” on me and my friend. I will make sure to never come to this location again due to this and I really hope that this is taken care of. Thank you.
