I visited the Elgin Culver’s on Saturday, February 7, 2026. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 45 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Kentucky and Florida. The food was excellent and the service was quick. I definitely recommend the ice cream and the chicken. 5/5 I will definitely be back very soon. It was very busy we were there in the evenings but that never deters us. (Written 2-15-26)

Today I ordered two salads and a soda for curbside pickup. I placed the order for 11:45 am so I would have time to pick up lunch, go back to work, eat, and get back to work. I checked in at the designated area to wait for my order, but 10 minutes passed after I notified them I was there, so I decided to go inside and ask. Apparently, nobody had any idea what was going on. First, I think they confused me with someone else with the same name, then the manager came over, asked what my order was, and with a very aggressive attitude said, “You arrived early.” Excuse me? I had already used 15 minutes of my 30-minute break and still didn’t have my order. I complained to the manager because it was clear they were in complete disarray, and she said, “I can’t control when the orders come out,” and then, with the same bad attitude, added, “Your order will be ready in less than a minute.” Five more minutes passed, and one of the employees came over with a bag saying, “Here’s your order,” but again, it was the wrong order. It was a large order with lots of food, and the manager also had three drinks and an ice cream. I told them that wasn’t what I ordered. I told them my order was simple and easy: two salads and a soda. After a few more minutes, the same young man went and looked in the stand where they keep the ready orders, next to the cash registers, and surprise, my order had been there since 11:38, and nobody could find it. I’m a regular customer, but I’m not happy with what happened today. Please be more careful with your customers.

On a Thursday night I came in here solo for a quick dine-in dinner. My order was taken at the counter by a rather lifeless cashier. I have been to this location in Elgin. I have been there five or six times in the last week. It gets very busy on Friday nights, Saturday nights. And Sunday afternoons. That’s to be expected at Culver’s. When I arrived, I was greeted when i walked through the door. I ordered my food, a double sourdough melt with deep fried cheese curds. it was delicious. A few days passed, and I returned to the culver’s in Elgin. I ordered a double butter burger. Chili cheese, fries, and a scoop with hot caramel and banana. These were also very good. I received my food promptly. Every part of my order was hot and fresh. I have no complaints to state about Culver’s.

I always enjoy the excellent quality and flavor of Culver’s. I had a mushroom & swiss hamburger, cheese curts, and root beer vanilla ice cream float for under $15. Service was great (as always), facilities were clean, parking was abundant. Everything great!

First off: when I saw that my local Culver’s had 666 reviews, I just knew I had to change that (nuh-uh, not today Satan!) I’m going to be the 667th reviewer! I love culver’s! Their fries are crispy and always hot and fresh! Believe it or not, their scrumptious signature Butterburgers are buttery and burgery!
