Yep. They have more butter. To my taste that came from the bun mostly. Otherwise it did not really taste much different than other fast food burgers.
Sides were another story. We got the cole slaw and mashed potatoes and both were better than expected.
Service was slow. It took almost an hour from when we walked in until we came back to our car. After ordering we had to wait for them to bring the food to us which accounted for the delay.
Will definitely stop by again!
Every single time I eat here the food is hot, fresh, and quite flavorful! The people working the counter are polite, and the bussers who bring the food out are always curteous. The fountain drinks are always refreshing, and have never been weak or watered down.
When the seasonal burger was the pub burger, it was my favorite. My normal go-to is the Bacon Deluxe Double. I tried the curder burger recently, and would recommend it if you love cheese curds and can handle a lot of them, as the cheese curd patty is larger than the burger patty!
The longest I’ve had to wait for food is around 10-15 minutes on a surprize rush from 2 busses!
The dining area is acceptably clean, and the restrooms are always clean.
Out of all the Culver’s I’ve eaten at, this is the one that deserves a 5 star rating, and should be the standard others strive to achieve.
The restaurant is always bustling with families, retired folks, and couples at all hours of the day. It is clearly the place to be in Tomah. It’s sparkling clean, adequately staffed (unlike most comparable restaurants), and consistently has a positive and pleasant atmosphere. The service is quick, attentive, and friendly. Everyone who works there seems to be happy, paid fairly, and treated with respect. It makes me so happy to see that. That should be the standard.
The food is fresh and honestly seems to be make with love, even though it’s a fast casual restaurant. The deluxe butter burger, cheese curds, cod sandwich, fries, and custard are stand-out menu items for us.
We are now pescatarians, so we are grateful to still have food options at Culver’s. The cod sandwich is super tasty, and it’s a worthy substitute for the butter burger.
Overall, we love this Culver’s and can’t recommend it highly enough.
