If you’re heading up to Door County and pass the Culver’s, just know this: it’s basically the last civilized outpost before you enter the land of fish boils and charmingly limited WiFi.
We told ourselves we didn’t need to stop. We were wrong.
The butter burgers? Flawless. The cheese curds? Crispy little gifts from Wisconsin heaven. The concrete mixer? So thick it could patch potholes on Highway 42. And somehow the staff is always cheerful, efficient, and moving like they’re training for the Dairy Olympics.
It’s the perfect “one last taste of chain food” before you fully commit to supper clubs and cherry everything. Honestly, it’s not just a stop — it’s a strategic refueling station. 10/10, would absolutely plan my bladder schedule around it again.

My burger came out with the bottom bun still cold? The cashier seemed rushed and missed our order. Other than these, we love Culvers. Cod dinner is very worth the price!

Workers are nice. It’s not like normal fast food, you order they bring it out to you and then come back and pick up your tray (at least they did while I was there. Best fast food and iced treats.

Ordered the cod dinner…asked for melted butter..both managers refused and was like we dont have melted butter…mind you I HAVE ALWAYS gotten melted butter before…both crew leaders were very confused and just blew me off. I asked if they had a microwave…rudely they answered well yes but we only have packets of butter.. sooo Austin needs to rethink his crew leaders if there gonna be rude..Will not recommend to anyone..thanks for the not great service.

Sevwas good. Food little flat tasting. But I understand can’t use salt etc. Lettuce and tomato were fresh. Custard and shake were were very good, pricey but good.

We were in Sturgeon Bay and it was around 9pm on a Tuesday. Quick drive-thru service. I was surprised that the attached gas station/store was already closed, as I probably would have grabbed beer and sodas.
Definitely not the Culver’s restaurant you see in the ads but it was still delicious!

Typical Culver’s quality and service. Plenty of Outdoor seating available for nice summer days!
The only downside is that this location Is in need of updating/modernization. Showing its age compared to other Culver’s in this part of Wisconsin.

Good custard desserts. Restaurant was clean and well staffed. We were there around 3p and there were not a lot of customers. Would have been able to find a seat easily, but went in to take out. The drive thru was very busy. Would recommend the concrete mixers and pretzel bites… so good!

Went in the drive thru. Asked for a double butter burger with Swiss cheese and the works. Got a mushroom and swiss with the works. Everytime other time I come here I get sloppy work from the cooks. How hard is it to slice onions the way culvers trains you too? How hard is it too not put 5 pickles on a burger. I’m done with the culvers in this area. They don’t know how to make or put toppings on a burger. Asked for a side of soup too and was given a knife and fork but no spoon. I would rather go down to green bay for this food then down the street.
