Stopped by Culver’s today and ordered onion rings. When I bit into them, multiple pieces had a chalky white powder/clumps inside and it left white residue on the plate (see photos). It looked like raw flour/breading or some kind of contaminant, and I didn’t feel safe continuing to eat.

This is a basic food-safety/quality issue that shouldn’t happen. Please review the prep/battering process and kitchen handling.

So today I didn’t have a good experience at Culver’s unfortunately. First they handed us our order and didn’t give us our onion rings. I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich and was given a regular crispy chicken sandwich. Then when we opened our burgers they were pretty much just thrown in there. Definitely not as appetizing as they usually give you when you dine in. All and all I think I will take a break from Culver’s for a while…

To pay $34 for two meals and have marketing advertisements claiming the food is made fresh to order is absurd!! My onion rings are cold and the cheese curds seem like they came out of a warming tray.

I did go through the drive through so I’m not sure if that makes a difference but either way with the wait, I expected my meal to be prepared fresh and based on the temperature of my food, that’s false advertising.

This is by far my favorite Culvers around this area. In all the years I’ve come here they have not gotten my order wrong even once. Food is always fresh. Staff are always super friendly. This location is run efficiently and the management here are clearly doing their jobs. I can’t say the same for other locations but this one…yes! My son’s favorite meal here… chicken strips, cheese curds & a concrete mixer. If u have never tried one it’s like a DQ blizzard but better. The food is always good. Highly recommended this spot!

Culver’s is my go to if picking up and not eating at home. The food is always what I expect. Overall happy with service though sometimes the service is a little on the slower side. I understand they are normally busy so I give some grace with that.

Staff intentionally held my order I wasn’t important at all to them. Help my order sitting on the counter then tried to give it to another driver it was as if they were doing everything they could to delay me and hold me up and you should really check their reading skills. Also other Dasher didn’t catch the mistake and was prepared to walk out with my order and his only my consistent and repeated questions about where the food was got them to take the food back from him and give it to me. I believe he was trying to steal the order and I prevented it. Very disappointed will be reporting this to door dash

I’m so glad to have a Culver’s location here in Portage, and the one on South Westnedge is a standout. My visit today was fantastic, starting the moment I pulled into the drive-thru line. The team member on the speaker was incredibly friendly and took my rather large order with a genuine upbeat tone, which made the experience feel smooth and personal. I was getting two Double Deluxe meals and a Family-Size Fries to treat my four-legged family members. The food came out piping hot and fresh, and while my dogs can’t tell me in words, their excitement and quick work of the meals spoke volumes. It was a perfect, special treat for them! I appreciated the speed and accuracy of the service, even during a busy time. It’s clear the staff is focused on delivering a great customer experience from the window, no matter who the meal is for. The level of consistency here is why I’m a frequent visitor and a big fan of this specific Culver’s. The whole experience, from service to the food, was exceptional and truly made my day.

Culver’s is definitely the standard setter for fast food chains. This place is neat, clean and extremely well maintained. The Staff is great and they all are so well dressed every single time rather than looking like junkies at other competitors.

We always liked dining-in before Covid-19 changed everything. But they are still doing a great job with their drive thru/curbside pickup service.

The food is always fresh and the shakes are delicious.

Unfortunately the Dine-in is still closed. Hopefully it will open up soon. Keep up the great work Culver’s!

Went in Friday, Dec 12, 2025 with family,, ordered a few burgers to dine in. After a 40 minute wait, I went to the registers to inquire about my food and was told. “We’re really busy”.. after 20 MORE minutes I asked to speak to a manager who stated that our orders must have been lost. He began to round up food to fulfill our orders. The food was disgusting. The cooks were grabbing buns that were sitting out and littered with receipts, onion rings were old,, the burgers were inedible.We threw away the food and left.

Disappointed. Ordered a butter burger single with ketchup and mustard and it came totally plain. I also received BBQ sauce instead of marinara for my cheese curds. It’s a 15 min drive to this location for me so it wasn’t worth driving back over. At least the employees are nice.
