The staff and team members are honestly really respectful, and polite! Last night I decided to try the new culver’s out in White Lake, MI! I took my father and my 2 boys (4 and 3). I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, My father ordered a double butter burger with Ketchup, and mushrooms. My boys got 2 kids meals, both cheese burgers and fries, one with just ketchup and cheese, the other was ketchup and mustard, with lettuce, mushrooms, and bacon. I am truly not one to even write a review. This is honestly the first review I have ever written on a restaurant, or a public business. I truly understand that mistakes happen, and it’s addressed it gets fixed, and we go in about our day. For four burgers it was 45 bucks, so yes – I wanted my order to be correct. When I got home, I truly thought we were handed the wrong order. I looked down at my receipt and nope, my name was written in black and white, crystal clear! amy boys burgers were just ketchup with a piece of cheese that was so over cooked it was like cheese sauce. My mushroom swiss burger, I took one bite, and i couldn’t eat it. It was burnt all to hell. I understand a “Smash” burger! I own a couple flat tops, and my family and I are fans of smash burgers. What I was given wasn’t a “Smash Burger”, It was a damn “Ash” Burger. Honestly, I am
not really the kind of guy to do something like this. That was absolutely ridiculous. I don’t understand how you can mess an order up that badly – Than not take accountability for it? If you find yourself wanting Culver’s, I promise you – The extra 15-20 Minutes (commute), to Waterford, or Hartland, even Clarkston locations are so much better. If you enjoy this location – Please… do yourself a favor, go experience the real thing.

I don’t usually post reviews – even when I’ve had a bad experience – but my previous experience here was shockingly bad.
A friend and I wanted some ice cream, so we stopped inside this Culver’s as it was closer than the Waterford location. It wasn’t busy at all – maybe 1 or 2 other customers who were already sitting at tables or who were cleaning up to leave.
The ordering process was smooth and the staff was friendly. From what I could see, they were not understaffed at the time. We ordered two small ice cream products.
My friend and I sat at a table per usual Culver’s style when you dine in. We waited fifteen minutes and watched a table who ordered after us get their food first before we finally went to the counter to see if there was an issue with the ice cream.
When we get to the front counter, they had only completed half of our order. My friend’s concrete mixer sat melting behind the counter. My ice cream wasn’t even started on. When politely confronted, they rushed my ice cream and severely skimped on the add-ins. We didn’t complain at the time as we simply wanted to eat and leave.
I’m usually incredibly forgiving when items are forgotten, especially if it was busy. This was not one of those times. Instead of finishing our order, a group of workers decided to be loud and were messing around behind the counter.
I had eaten at this location one other time when they first opened, and it was a great experience. But it seems many others in these reviews share similar sentiment to my newest experience.
On a positive note:
I do want to add on that there was one lady who seemed incredibly diligent that day. I never got her name, but she was very much on top of things and seemed to be the only one taking out car-side and drive-thru orders during the time we were there. Even though she wasn’t the one to take/make our order, we both acknowledged how professional she seemed. She even held the door for us when we followed her out despite her holding food. I know she most likely won’t read this review, but I am grateful for her.

I just had the Northwoods walleye, it is absolutely horrible. The batter is so thick they have to cook it til it’s concrete. As a Michigander this was the worst.

So me and my two daughter went to culvers yesterday at around 6pm. The food was good but it wasn’t great. The food was pretty slow coming out even though they had a lot of employees working that day. The kitchen was slacking and the food came out kinda cold. But there was this person running custard and even though she was slammed she still greeted us with a smile and was super kind to us. Who ever ran custard yesterday you should tell her about this amazing review I am giving her.

We mostly enjoy the food and have been to this location and others several times over the years. However this location specifically FORGETS FOOD ALMOST EVERY TRIP. Don’t let your guard down and check your bags every time. Coming home and missing cheese curds or fries or a burger is a huge bummer. It’s a 10 minute drive there so I am not going to drive 20 minutes for $4 food item.

We were so excited to have a Culver’s open here, but unfortunately this location just isn’t good. Our biggest problem is the fries are always way undercooked. Even if we order them extra crispy. With other issued too, we find ourselves still driving all the way down to Waterford most of the time.

I really want to give them better reviews because everyone usually deal with is great, but what I experienced tonight with the ice cream person saying “I am going to kill someone” over the stress of making ice cream during a rush was too much. She also put a ice cream dish that fell on the floor back into the clean caddy. Also witnessed her give another employee disgusting ice cream that looked absolutely terrible and was mixed too much that it looked like puke, and say, “oh well” Really shocked and appalled by her behavior. The food was good prior to the same counter and all the other staff members have been nothing but great but Jasmine, you need to get it together. Ice cream should not cause you to lose your cool like that. I do appreciate Josh for being sincere and handling the situation.

Other nearby Culvers locations typically has pretty nice and helpful employees but not really here. One taking our order sneezed in her hand then proceeded to hand us our cups. They took longer than normal to get food. When the food/ice cream arrived we had some missing and they gave my wife a little hard time about it. Will skip this Culvers for now and head to a different nearby location instead. Hopefully they get it together.

So I went to culvers yesterday and there was this girl running custard during the evening. Her name was Jasmine, she was the sweetest girl ever. She made my custard perfectly and she has such a bubbly bright personality. The food came out amazing.

Horrible location, they always forget something. This time it was our fry and our sauces.The fry we did get was disgusting, I don’t think they’ve ever change the oil. It was brown and bitter tasting. Also our cokes tasted like water, guessing their syrup was out and thought it was okay to serve us that. It’s always dirty in there, unsure on how that’s possible since it’s a newer location. Lazy management obviously. Get new management because seriously it’s bad. Anyways anyone who’s wanting to go here, spend the extra 10 mins to go to the waterford location, it’s 1000 times better then this dump with bad attitude employees.
