Really good upscale burger restaurant in Hixson! Nice to have the Culver’s chain come to Chattanooga but my first experience at the Hixson location was mixed. The food was great, but my order got lost in the shuffle when I went during lunchtime of their first week in operation. I waited 30 minutes before I had to go up and inquire about my order to finally get it. That may have been simply a grand opening miscue, so I’ll definitely give them another shot. The food was pretty good and not too overpriced at about 14 bucks for a double burger with bacon, large fry and large drink, but certainly not inexpensive. The restaurant itself is pretty nice. Definitely better than most fast food places. It’s also bigger than most so there’s a good number of seating options. There’s also outdoor seating on the patio. This location also has a large parking area, which is nice. I didn’t try a shake this time so I’ll give that a try on my next visit. I think Culver’s is a very good chain and a great new option to have but I think it’s kind of an “every now and then” type of place to eat.

We love Culver’s so nice to have one here in Hixson!! For the grand opening they were doing an amazing job. Let’s hope that kind of momentum keeps going after the first few weeks. The pot roast is my all time favorite sandwich there but their cod dinner plate is a favorite amongst my extended family if you want to try something other than a butter burger. Unique sides too like broccoli and pretzel bites besides the usual fries and onion rings and of course Cheese curds. I’m a chocolate concrete fan with peanut butter stirred in but I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad concrete. Go check them out!

Edited: Went through drive through during a lighter time, aka not super busy, ordered and ended up having to wait – that’s ok. Got home and missing a sandwich (pot roast) … Accidents happen but this seems to happen a lot right now at this location. I tried calling the store 3 different times for no one to answer so I also went on the Culver’s feedback line and said I don’t want to rate you poorly but I do want my food, a credit, or something. I DID ask to be contacted and left all my information and haven’t heard back in over a week. So all of these, please tell us more responses below mean nothing – take as long as you need in drive through or before you leave the store to be sure you have the right food because they don’t care after you’ve left. Sadly since no one even tried to make it right I can’t leave 5 stars.

I’ve been here twice both times in the morning and its very clean atmosphere is very friendly and the first time I came here all the employees shouted “welcome to Culver’s!” if you dine in, they deliver the food to you. The food is actually really affordable. The quality is also really good. The fries are crispy and the burgers are filling. Overall, it’s a welcoming place. They pay attention to their customers, and the environment is clean and friendly definitely a place to stop by whether you’re on the go or want a place to sit down and relax.

Culver’s really nailed the dish—
Crispy batter, flaky fish.
The fries stay hot, the flavor pops,
A simple meal that truly tops.

And don’t get me started on the rest—
The butter burgers? Simply the best.
Juicy, rich, cooked just right,
And custard that’s smooth, cold, and light.
Culver’s makes comfort food feel deluxe—
One visit, and yeah… you’re hooked.

I have ate at Culver’s in Knoxville many times I love that place. I was so happy to see they added one here when driving through Hixson. Of course we had to pull in and eat. I ordered a fish basket for my daughter what I got instead was a pile of lettuce and cheese with a small piece of fish on it. Maybe they don’t serve the same things as they do in Knoxville. There you actually get 2 to 3 pieces of fish in a fish plate, here essentially I got a sandwich minus the bun. On my other order, I ordered a kids meal. they asked me what I wanted for the side and I said onion rings. I did not know they charged me $2.10 to make it onion rings instead of fries. The onion rings were not good. Nothing like what I get in Knoxville. The burger had so much grease on it. My bun was soggy from the grease. I was very very disappointed. It really seemed like it was a whole other place, not a Culver’s at all. Maybe it’ll just take time for them to get in the groove, but I don’t think I’ll try eating here again.

Overall, disappointed with the burger. You hear people talk about regional chains like Culver’s and expect something special but I can get a better burger at Wendy’s. Burger was kinda dry, dull. Honestly I’d pick a quarter pounder at McDonald’s over this. Culver’s had good onion rings and they were made from whole onions, not minced like Burger King so that’s a big plus. Not too many chains have good onion rings

Brand new Culver’s to the area. Super busy as to be expected in the first week. There was a mixup with my meal and I waited quite a long time. Then something happened that is all too rare. The assistant manager came out and apologized and gave me a coupon for a meal next time I came in. Normally the wait would have made me question returning, but actual quality customer service will get me back in, likely with the rest of the family. Lesson for all food establishments: if you make a mistake, make it right. Great service and the food is always good.

Hands down the best fast food Burger you can get! My burger was picture perfect. Had the crispy edges on the meat. I should have taken a picture because it was so good looking but I ate it really quickly. Great job Culver’s! Highly recommend

This is not a bad place to go eat unless you have a shellfish allergy. Because apparently they don’t do a whole lot to protect people from shellfish there. I was told pretty much the majority of the menu I can’t eat it. Because all the fryers are on one side of the kitchen and they don’t prevent cross-contamination. So pretty much I can’t eat french fries or anything that goes in the fryer. I can’t eat the majority of their menu or else I’ll end up in the hospital or the morgue. So even though we had great customer service and what I could eat was really decent I could never go back. I’m sorry but I don’t feel like sticking a nappy pen in my thigh and then taking a trip to the emergency room. So if you don’t have any shellfish allergies then please go not a bad place to go. They even have gluten-free buns for people like my mother. But if you’re allergic to shellfish like I am steer clear of the place.

Never order curbside from this place, I’ve tried 3 different times and each time I have waited vetween 20-40 minutes before needing to go inside to ask after my food. This last time was my last straw. All food items were cold, one was missing all the extra toppings i paid for, the mixer was melted, the fish sandwich looked like someone had dropped it then stepped on it before putting it in the bag. A single ‘sorry about that’ was the only acknowledgement as i was given the bag of food. I don’t know if something was going on in the kitchen but the restaurant did not appear even slightly busy. If I wanted food thas cold and squished I would go to burger king,, not pay $17 for it lmao

Just drive up to Cleveland or fort O and get Freddy’s instead
