Update: The service has gone down a bit, overall still decent, however not like it used to be. Overall the situation could have been handled way better and no apologies for the mistake of their staff! original:Great experience. I tried the sourdough burger. The meat was cooked perfectly. The cheese was extra pully. The pretzel bites with cheese were outstanding!! The cheese curds were excellent as well! Very clean restaurant, super friendly staff, and good food! I will definitely be coming back, I highly recommend this location!

Ordered 2 grilled chicken (fries and drink) baskets and a slaw (xtra) . The slaw was so nasty. It literally tasted like it was spoiled or something. My husband didn’t like the chicken basket.

Went through drive thru. But had a good experience. The food was fresh and made to order. The best fast food burger I’ve had in Pensacola. Fresh toppings and freshly cooked crisp bacon. Toasted buttered buns. I will definitely make sure to eat here again.

Today was the first time my boyfriend and I ate anything from this chain. We originally wanted to go to TOPS, but they were sadly closed. Since I’ve heard some praising Culver’s in the past, we decided to give it a try.
I couldn’t have been more disappointed in my life. The burgers were dry and bland, definitely not fresh. The fries were okay? The mixers are average, but just go to Cookout. What really got to me was the customer service though.
The tall man that took our order made us feel rushed, asking “Are you guys ready to order” every couple of minutes. Again, it’s our first time, we don’t know the menu. It’s made us feel rushed, flustered, and irritated. When I was trying to order my mixer, I wanted to get the peanut butter flavor with a chocolate add in (cuz pb&c is life), but he kept correcting me saying “vanilla with peanut butter add-in?” I gave in on the 3rd time he corrected me saying “sure, that’ll work.”
If this were some average worker, I’d be more forgiving. But this was the OWNER. Tell me how is the OWNER not knowing his OWN menu and dishing out some of the WORST customer service out there? I really hate it for the workers that have to put up with him. We sat and ate and just heard his nagging voice, especially with the dining area being DEAD silent – no music and a lot of elderly.
Terrible first experience, not worth the near $30 I spent.

I PLACED AN ONLINE ORDER THAT I NOTICED THE PICK UP TIME WAS WRONG ON THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. THE ORDER WAS PLACED AT 1054AM. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED CULVERS, (TIME ON PHONE IS 1055AM AND SPOKE WITH DENNIS WHO CLAIMED TO BE THE ACTING MANAGER. I EXPLAINED THAT MY ORDER WAS JUST SENT AND I NEED TO CHANGE THE TIME FOR 12PM NOT 11AM. HE WAS RUDE AND TOLD ME I SHOULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE A COMPUTER AND THAT MY ORDER WAS READY AND ALREADY DONE. I GO TO CULVERS AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK AND THERE IS ALWAYS A LONG WAIT FOR MY FOOD DUE TO IT BEING FRESH COOKED TO ORDER. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY MY ORDER WAS MADE AND READY TO BE PICKED UP IN ONE MINUTE. I ORDERED 57 DOLLARS WORTH OF FOOD!!!! I TOLD HIM I WAS AT WORK AND WOULD NEED TO CANCEL MY ORDER AND HE TOLD ME THATS MY PROBLEM AND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH HIS BOSS AND HE TOLD ME GOOD LUCK WITH THAT AND HUNG UP! THIS IS COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I AM NOW OUT $57 DOLLARS! I AM REQUESTING A RESOLUTION TO THIS MATTER AND LOOK FORWARD IN TALKING WITH SOMEONE REGARDING THIS MATTER! MY SHIFT (PUBLIC SERVICE) PURCHASED $174.40 WORTH OF FOOD TODAY AND AGAIN DENNIS WAS COMPLETEY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE TO NOT ONLY ME BUT THE PERSONS THAT PICKED UP THE FOOD!

This specific Culver’s is just a bit above all the other Culver’s I’ve eaten in. The food was very good, it’s very clean and the restrooms were very clean. Good food, quite, friendly and clean with the sun shining through the windows. We really enjoyed our lunch.

Great greasy burger! My first visit and not disappointed! Good burger and fries and the concrete custard was a nice treat afterwards.

If you order food on the Culver’s app, it tells you what time to pick your food up and it told me to pick mine up at 5:45, the manager Shaun (not sure about the spelling) at the Culver’s on Bayou said that they’d had the food ready since we ordered it which was 30 minutes prior because again the app gives you a time to pick the food up. I said “oh why did your app tell us to pick it up at 5:45 then” and he said he doesn’t know but it’s policy that they make the food as soon as they receive a ticket and he refused to make the food again, he said they don’t remake food. I was just blown away. He served us 30 minute old food and said he simply would not remake it even though the problem is on his end.

My burger was very salty, the service was very lackluster. When my family and I walked in there was about 6 employees standing at the register. They all just stared, no “Welcome to Culver’s” or “May I take your order”. It took a nice brown skin lady with glasses to greet us as she just walked back in from taking orders out to drive thru customers. The employees need better customers service training. They seem as if they are forced to work against their will. The restaurant was also very clean.

For reference: I NEVER make reviews. My very bubbly, lighthearted, grace giving family came into this Culver’s excited to compare it to all of the ones in Wisconsin we’ve been to. As that is where we were born and raised. The energy, walking in was so lovely. Everyone greeted us with a smile, until Dennis, walked out of the back claiming harshly that he didn’t hear absolutely everyone greet us. (Everyone did) his presence immediately shifted the energy of the room and for the rest of our time, we were concerned for the treatment of the employees. We started to focus in and listened to how he was speaking to them and it was clear in his tone and passive comments that he has absolutely no respect for those that work under/along side him. Next came Caitlin(apologies for incorrect spelling of her name) my husband went back up to the counter and she condemned the cashiers for not greeting him for the 4th time in front of my husband. She then switched tones and addressed my husband. He replied to her, “they’ve greeted me, I’ve been here for a while” these seemingly young employees are doing a fantastic job. Just talking to a few of them, they were sincere, kind, & genuine. My suggestion: 1. Do not speak to anyone the way you did. 2. Don’t address issues in front of customers. 3. If you have young adults willing to work for you, do everything in your power to cherish and nurture that. These are people that do not deserve to be treated the way they are being treated. This would have been one of our favorite experiences had Caitlin and Dennis not tainted this with the negativity. I feel sad for them & am only reviewing because our survey code isn’t working AND if those workers are too scared to speak up, I’m not. Absolutely unacceptable. I hope this is taken seriously.
