Other then that this experience was a total let down. Never again.
Clean and drive thru seems quick.
Overall, I would come back. I would out this obviously before McDonald’s but below BurgerFi.
This was by far the coldest food I’ve ever been served, and one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. The staff members involved were Kevin, Caleb, and another employee whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch.
I ordered regular fries but was given onion rings instead. The bag was handed to me upside down, which already wasn’t great food handling. After working a 10-hour shift, I wasn’t closely inspecting my food — I was just ready to eat. When I realized the mistake after biting into one onion ring, I was told I couldn’t get the fries because I had already bitten into it. Absolutely absurd.
They then said they couldn’t put the fries back under the heat lamp to give to another customer — which shouldn’t have even been an option. Once a bag is handed to a customer and touched, it should go straight to the trash. That’s basic food safety.
I left unhappy, with cold food and no resolution. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this location or any Culver’s.
My wife and I used to love this restaurant for its convenient location, fresh food, and friendly staff. Unfortunately, today was both our most disappointing and our final visit.
When I walked in for lunch, three employees were at the counter—none of them greeted me. A middle-aged white man frowned and turned away, pretending to be busy. A young African American man also turned around and disappeared into the back. A young woman (white or Latino) stood silently for a while before finally saying, “I can take your order,” about thirty seconds later.
While I tried to digest the situation to decide what to do, another young man appeared, smiling and even imitating my posture. I didn’t take offense—he seemed more unaware than rude—but the first three clearly displayed discomfort and disinterest the moment they saw us. Their attitude made it obvious that our presence wasn’t welcome.
I’m writing this review for two reasons. First, for those 3 Georgians who still seem stuck in their own version of the 1980s, in Buford that has grown and modernized for the past decade. Second, for the owner, who has invested lots of capital in this restaurant and no idea how wrongly his employees are treating customers.
What a pitiful waster of precious time these people are…so sad…
