Came in on January 4th after church and had such a great experience. Our waitress Makayla was amazing, very attentive, patient, and had such a positive attitude. I originally ordered steak and decided to switch to lobster, & she handled the change smoothly with no issues at all. The lobster was delicious, my friend had the catfish and it was full of flavor, and the drinks were really good too. Great food, great drinks, and even better service. Makayla truly made our visit enjoyable we’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for food that actually feeds your soul, Culturistic Kitchen is that spot. The flavors are bold, intentional, and rooted in culture—you can tell every dish is made with love, not shortcuts.

The seasoning is on point (not salty, not bland), the portions are satisfying, and everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared. This is the kind of place where each bite reminds you why supporting Black-owned, culture-driven kitchens matters.

Customer service? Warm, welcoming, and genuine—like family. You don’t feel rushed, and you feel appreciated for choosing them.

Overall, Culturistic Kitchen is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Comfort food elevated, culture respected, and flavor that stays on your mind long after the plate is empty. Definitely a repeat visit for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first visit here was a pleasant one. The food was very good! I had the catfish & grits & it was delicious! The catfish was cooked to perfection & the grits were smooth & creamy, not gritty. Hallelujah!! I would recommend that dish to everyone I speak to about this restaurant… and have! My friend had a fried chicken salad & she said it was good. It was huge & like delicious.

We went around 12p & they only have the brunch menu at that time. Those are the only things they have prepped so you can’t venture out much from the menu. My friend’s salad was not part of the brunch menu but they made an exception for her, according to our waitress.

Our waitress was nice. I think she was new, or she seemed to be new, but she was pleasant. The only thing I didn’t like, or appreciate, is when she asked if I wanted cheese with my dish. I said “sure, but on the side”, so she brought me a small to go container of cheese. I never ate it, it literally stayed on the table, but when I received the bill I was charged $1.50 for a side of cheese. I asked why I was charged & she said it was bcuz I said yes. Well, I said yes bcuz she asked if I wanted it, like it was included with the meal, but apparently it was not & she did not offer to remove the charges. I told her she could have it back, bcuz I didn’t eat it, but ended up giving it to my friend who took it home with her. SO IF YOU’RE OFFERED SOMETHING ASK IF THERE IS A CHARGE FOR IT BCUZ YOU WON’T KNOW UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE BILL!

The restaurant is nice & I’m sure the vibe is very chill. We went early & there wasn’t a lot going on but I’m guessing the evenings are livelier.

Overall, the experience was decent & I’ll be back to try something else. I really had my mouth set for the turkey wing but that wasn’t available on the bunch menu. Maybe next time….

My wife and I order fried green tomatoes for appetizers. It was different from other places we tried fried green tomatoes, they hooked it up with bacon bits and a tasty sauce. Then we order the lamb chops . It was delicious I love the sweet flavor and tenderness, also the yams and garlic mash potatoes was good. I highly recommend visiting Culturistic kitchen. Is gonna be 1 of our favorite place to eat. We also had Margaritas and they was good as well.

I got this place from Tik Tok just wanted to try something new. I always want to support but my experience wasn’t that great, nor was it that bad. I’m going to be honest as soon as I walked in it smelled a little bit like dishwater. When we sat down we learned there was some things on the menu that were not available which was a little disappointing. I wanted some Alfredo that was advertised on tiktok and I specifically asked the waitress to distinguish between the rasta pasta and the Alfredo dish. I mentioned Linguini being the noodles and she said yes but by the time I got my food, they were penne noodles and I was given like seven chunks of chicken total. Completely not enough. And I didn’t like that the waitress did not tell me that there was no linguine. Then my partner ordered salmon because it’s his favorite dish, and he ordered it medium well. By the time he got it it was overcooked and unseasoned but drowned and sauce when he let me taste it it tasted so fishy. We can tell it was not fresh. He liked the mashed potatoes, and I agree they were great. I may come back for a taco tuesday, to see what that looks like.

I absolutely adore Eric. I’ve brought 10 plus people to this establishment not only because the food is good, but because the drinks are awesome. He is a true bartender and tailor the drinks to your individual needs. He learns you as you repeatedly come to Culturistic Kitchen. I work in banking and I am a liquor/drink connoisseur, Eric is the epitome of a great bartender. He communicates well and makes your experience feel like you’re the only one there. If you come here, come before 5 and ask for Eric at the bar. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. Tell him Shay sent you!

My mom and I visited this restaurant earlier this afternoon. After being seated, having our drinks, and ordered, our food took at least 15-20 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, it was so delicious. Da bomb dot com. But the service was not the best. Our waitress barely checked on us and didnt even look our way. When we actually needed her, it was hard to get her attention. We had to constantly ask for things since condiments (not even salt or sugar) plus simple silverware was not automatically on our table. So overall the service was the food was . The atmosphere was amazing. The black culture vibe was so cool and the music added to the whole experience. So if you want good, comforting food and a uplifting atmosphere, visit Culturistic Kitchen ASAP. Just try your best to be patient cuz you’ll need a lot of that.

Lorenzo’s description of the food was on point and it didn’t disappoint. The turkey wing was tender, flavorful and delicious. The rice was well seasoned while the spinach, although cooked al dente was a touch tasteless.
However, I was dismayed by the fact that there were large no smoking signs on the doors but the eating area was under a cloud of hookah and vape smoke. Additionally, I felt that some of the crew members were not welcoming, appeared preoccupied and only able to focus on one task at a time.

Staff was not visible. They mainly stayed in the kitchen and came out sporadically, but not often. The food is mid. My son had the philly cheesesteak and he said the cheese was the only thing he tasted. My husband had the fried ribs and did not finish them. I had the pork chops. It was a thick cut of meat. Ive had better. The fried okra were the best thing we ordered. We also ordered the catfish nuggets and they were missing flavor. The table was sticky and it rocked. The floors were sticky as well. This is a small location and is cramped because of the furniture and the layout. Our server was nice. We wanted to support a small business and I’m glad we did. I doubt we’ll return, but it’s worth a try at least once. I liked the dj and music selection. We couldn’t enjoy patio dining because it was raining.
