Another restaurants that’s been on my list due to all the accolades it’s gotten. Their menu is simple and isnt over the top by any means (other than the caviar stuff) so wasn’t sure what to expect. We ended up getting steak and eggs, the brisket egg and cheese sandwich and fruit. Those dishes made me realize the magic in attaboy is that they’re brilliant at the basics. The simple things are just done beautifully. The eggs were fluffy, the breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy outside and pillowy soft on the inside. Steak was tender and everything was perfectly seasoned. This one was well worth the wait and can’t wait to go back.

Cullum’s Attaboy will surprise you in the best of ways. First of all, it’s hidden away. We had a reservation, and our GPS took us to the address, but we still managed to walk past it. Normally, I would consider this a negative, but with Cullum’s Attaboy, it makes you feel like you’ve discovered a secret spot and it gives you the feeling of dining exclusivity. This feeling is appropriate because when you first walk in the door, it’s immediately apparent that you have found a hidden gem. The kitchen is open and your eyes go straight to the French style chefs meticulously crafting delicious looking brunch masterpieces. If you aren’t hungry when you first get there, the aromas wafting from the kitchen and filling the restaurant will instantly put you in the mood to order one of everything on the menu. Before you order anything, get the mimosa. Sounds simple and plain, but they are known for their mimosas and just one sip will tell you why. Best mimosa I have ever had! A photo is worth a thousand words, and in this case, the flavors of the brunch dishes we had are best described looking at the photos. Everything was SO good! We sat at the counter overlooking the kitchen and conversed with the chef as we ate, who despite being busy, was more than happy to explain to us how they made their food taste so exceptional. They were awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand, and after trying their food, it’s easy to see why. Look for them to get a star in the near future. Truly, one of the most memorable and delectable brunch experiences!

I almost forgotten that SA had a few restaurants that were awarded the Michelin bib award, and decided to give Attaboy a shot.
The inside of the restaurant was full of customers with an slightly compacted, though, intimate setting. There were a few more things on the menu that were a bit enticing, but ultimately, we went for the Attaboy burger and fries with their signature glace inside the burger.
The wait for our food was a bit prolonged (20-30 min), but could’ve been worse. The burger was very tasty and cooked a perfect medium. The fries were perfectly seasoned and had an amazing texture profile. The glace that was poured over the burger is not a must, but it was definitely worth the $7 upcharge and added a bit more depth to the patty.
As soon as we were done dining, I saw another vehicle pull up to the restaurant and thought to myself, “Attaboy!”

Cullum’s Attaboy isn’t just a brunch spot — it’s a love letter to indulgence, with a side of swagger. From the moment we walked in, it felt like someone had taken the best parts of a French bistro and dropped them into San Antonio with a wink and a flourish of truffle oil.

Let’s talk about the truffle selection — I’ve seen sommeliers treat wine with less reverence. Shaved, infused, layered — if truffles are your love language, prepare to swoon.

The eggs Benedict were the kind of dish that makes you pause after the first bite just to silently acknowledge greatness. Perfectly poached, luxuriously sauced, and elevated by those glorious truffles.

Service was friendly, sharp, and unpretentious. The vibe? Cool but not trying too hard — a place that knows it’s good and just wants you to enjoy yourself.

If you’re in San Antonio and brunch is anything more than a meal to you, Cullum’s Attaboy is calling. Truffle up and answer.

Both of our steaks were overcooked, burnt bad too. Both of them were cold also cold. They also don’t have fountain drinks and it took 40 mins to receive our food. Just 8 dollar bottles of coke and various other bottles. But when we ate a piece that wasn’t burnt, it was really good. Ordered the glace sauce for 8 bucks. They managed to burn that too

spectacular! hands down favorite breakfast, I always order the truffle eggs & toast and the caesar salad for lunch. If you’re lucky you can grab a spot at the chefs table and get lost in the beautiful art the kitchen performs creating simple yet delicious entrees. don’t forget the bubbles and spudnuts! ps the jazz music playing throughout the restaurant will have you wanting to stay longer and order more bubbles

Checked out Cullum’s Attaboy—the food was fantastic. Remarkably, his father, Jim Cullum, was a legendary jazz player and some historical elements of the restaurant were dedicated to jazz, to include the music played.
