Very fun atmosphere. There is a covered patio area with games like corn hole.
The food is good. We really enjoyed dipping the pretzel bites in melted cheese.
I recommend the salmon dish.
Really good mixed drink selection.
Festive atmosphere. Great place for parties.

Definitely make reservations.

I had their $35 special which included a drink, and appetizer, entree and dessert. For an appetizer I had the house potato chips with the onion dip and it was amazing, how they get them so thin and so crispy is beyond me. For an entree I had the beer batter fish and chips, it comes with french fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was sweet without too much mayo, but the batter on the fish was a little bit on the salty side. For dessert I had their unique Strawberry Lemon Torte with torched meringue, lemon curd and strawberry coulis. It was really good if somewhat small. My wife enjoyed her chopped chicken salad. It was just loaded with avocados, chicken, deviled eggs and bacon. It was hearty and delicious. Our server was quick and informative and was constantly checking on us, clearing the table and making sure that we had everything that we needed. I would certainly come back here again and work myself through the menu.

My best friend and I had such a memorable dinner at Culinary Dropout. From the moment we arrived, the energy of the space felt vibrant and welcoming. The Dj set the perfect tone with a great mix of music that made the whole evening feel lively yet relaxed.

We started with the soft pretzels & provolone fondue as an appetizer, which were perfect for sharing and set the stage for a great meal. I had the Crispy Chicken Katsu, and my friend ordered the Steak Frites. She said the steak was cooked perfectly, tender, and flavorful. My sandwich was crispy, well-seasoned, and the flavors complemented each other well. Adding the jalapeños gave it a perfect kick and elevated the dish even more.

Service was equally impressive; our waitress was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we were all taken care of throughout the night. What truly elevated the experience was the hospitality. The manager, Alan, checked in on us throughout the evening as well and was incredibly kind, taking the time to converse with us and even hooking us up with a dessert. We especially appreciated that he’s bilingual and spoke with us in Spanish, which made the experience feel even more comfortable and welcoming. That extra level of care made us feel not just like customers, but genuinely welcomed guests.

We look forward to coming back!

If I could give this place more stars I would! The service was phenomenal. Our server was Savannah and she was great! The manager Alan was super attentive as well. The food is so good and fresh. They have great drinks and beer as well. The atmosphere is out of this world. Any vibe works here. If you want a kinda nice experience they have seating for that, if you want a super casual relaxed dining, they have that, and the COOP lounge is super nice and fancy as well. Highly recommend trying this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Group of 6. 2pm Sunday. Parking tight. Service slow, check slow. We weren’t in any hurry but it was noticeable. Music TOO LOUD… Like we were at a club or something, had to lean in to hear anyone talk at the table. Food very good, but overpriced. Very nice prime rib sandwich, no complaints about that at all. Fried shrimp/zucchini appetizer very good. Fries were basic. I do like the architecture and the fun vibe, just tone down the music volume! Just felt like any other chain restaurant.

Amazing experience at Culinary Dropout, the service was outstanding from start to finish. The fried chicken is incredible and definitely a must-order, and the salads were fresh and really well done. We did have a small issue with an ingredient in one of the salads, but it was fixed immediately and handled professionally. Allen, the manager, was very nice, communicated well, and went above and beyond by taking care of it. Great atmosphere, great food, and excellent customer service, we’ll definitely be back.

We stopped there for an early dinner one night while on a weeks stay in the Tucson area. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and the manager even stopped over 3 times to check with us. Our food tasted great (fish/chips, chicken katsu and crispy Brussel sprouts) and portions were large. We would definitely go back there again when we are in the area.

We had such a wonderful experience at Culinary Dropout, and we have to give a huge shoutout to Alan for making it so special! From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming to my family.

What really stood out was how comfortable he made us feel, he connected with us so naturally, and it honestly made such a difference. There was this immediate warmth and understanding that made our whole family feel at home. It’s always meaningful to feel represented and welcomed, and Alan truly created that environment for us.

He was patient, upbeat, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. His service went above and beyond.

Thank you, Alan, for your kindness and for making our family feel so welcomed. We’ll definitely be back because of you!

If you’re looking for a spot that blends casual vibes with elevated comfort food, Culinary Dropout in Tucson absolutely delivers. The atmosphere is laid back yet stylish, with a fun, energetic crowd and friendly service that made the experience even better.

I ordered the fish and chips, and it was spot on crispy golden batter with tender, flaky fish inside, served with fries but they were not that good and a tangy tartar sauce that tied it all together perfectly. Simple, but done right.

We also shared the soft pretzel with provolone fondue, which was a major highlight. The pretzel was warm, chewy, and perfectly salted, and the fondue was creamy, rich, and indulgent. A must-try appetizer.

Great food, great vibe, and plenty of options for all kinds of tastes. Whether you’re going with friends or just looking for a solid meal in Tucson, I’d definitely recommend stopping by Culinary Dropout.

Lively atmosphere with plenty of seating. Sangria was delicious! Loved the pretzel appetizer and nachos. I had a salad and it was okay, a little too heavy on the dressing. Service was good and overall had a great time. Easy parking!
