The ambiance was great! It was nice, cozy, romantic, and clean. The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. We really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts and warm bread as our appetizers. The Korean ribeye was savory and spicy. Lots of flavor and the mushrooms paired well. The steak frites came with truffle butter and it was very enjoyable. Both were perfect portions. Will definitely be back!

We had the best dinner. Pat, our server, was amazing! He was attentive, friendly and has a great personality. Our dinner was excellent and the whole package made for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this location. Both server and food runners let me know the chef was aware of my food allergies ( that my food was safe for me). I missed getting pictures of hubs burger and our amazing dessert of monkey bread. All of the food was excellent and generous portions.

Great atmosphere. Brunch menu had good options. Had the guava pineapple mimosa which was delicious. Then switched to their beer on tap which I was excited that it was Rogue Dead Guy IPA, my favorite.
Hubby got the breakfast burrito, I got the hash bowl. The pork in the hash bowl was so good! I’m assuming it’s the same pork they use on their nachos, in which case I’m so coming back for a lunch or dinner to have the pork nachos. The breakfast burrito was huge and very good! We took half of it home as we couldn’t finish it especially after starting with the beer cheese pretzels. Those are worth getting as well, so come hungry!
It was beautiful weather so it was so nice that this place had a very open front to allow the fresh air to flow through the restaurant. We will be returning!

his place was super cool! The interior perfectly blends classic and modern styles, creating a really inviting atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, keeping everything running smoothly. The food was spectacular, and the portions were surprisingly generous! I expected smaller, fancier portions given the prices, but they definitely loaded up the plates (no complaints here, haha). Definitely give this place a try when you’re in Scottsdale, it won’t disappoint!

Culinary Dropout is hands-down one of the BEST places to eat!
The service is always on point — super friendly, fast, and they make you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. The food? Next level. Every dish comes out fresh, full of flavor, and you can tell they actually care about what they’re serving.
The vibe is perfect too — fun, laid-back, and great for any occasion. If you’re looking for a spot that consistently delivers amazing food and even better service, Culinary Dropout is it. Highly recommend!

Located in Scottsdale Quarter, this location of Culinary Dropout was overall a good experience. We went for an early Saturday afternoon brunch and there was a wait of about 30 minutes. When we were seated we were greeted by our server, and we delivered our drinks right away. Our orders were taken right away. The appetizers took about 30 minutes to arrive. We ordered the brussel sprouts and wagyu pigs in a blanket. The appetizers tasted good, especially the brussel sprouts. The entrées arrived and were presented clean. The 36-Hour ribs were cooked well, however slightly dry. The fish and chips was tasty and served with malt vinegar on request. Overall the food was tasty. There was live music during uur time at Culinary Dropout. The live music was a nice touch, but did make hearing a little bit difficult. Two appetizers and two entrées cost us about $90 before tip. Overall, Culinary Dropout was a good experience.

We hosted an event here with about 35 people and honestly had the best time. The space was beautiful and had such a great vibe in the evening—not too loud, which made it perfect for mingling and catching up.
The service was amazing. Cruz, Christian, and Ryan took care of us and were so attentive. They remembered who ordered what when it came to drinks (which is impressive with a group that size!) and made sure everything came out quickly and smoothly. The food was on time and delicious, and the whole night just flowed really well.
They were also super accommodating—helped with cleanup and even let us stay a little past our scheduled time without rushing us out, which we really appreciated. I’d absolutely recommend this spot to anyone planning an event—whether it’s for work, family, or friends. Everything about it was just easy and enjoyable. Huge thanks to the team for making it such a great night!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful lunch with my sister and her husband at the Culinary Dropout in Scottsdale, situated in Kirkland Commons. This popular and spacious gastropub provides an enjoyable atmosphere and several dining areas, which are ideal for groups, complete with numerous TVs for sports viewing and an area for adult activities like ping pong and cornhole. Their menu features a selection of craft cocktails and beers, along with starters and antipasti, classic pub fare, salads, and Detroit-style pizza. Entrees include beloved pub favorites such as fish and chips, 36-hour pork ribs, fried chicken, pub burgers, and sandwiches. Since it was Sunday, they also had a variety of brunch options available. Our server was exceptionally attentive and provided excellent service. Following her recommendation, I decided to try the fish and chips. My wife opted for the Asian crunch salad with shrimp with a Thai curry vinaigrette. The fish and chips, though tasty, was a little greasy, a sign that the oil needed to be changed, and the Thai curry dressing had a bitter aftertaste, which could have used a little sweetness to it. Overall it was a good experience I will say that the food at the Arcadia location is a little more to our liking.

Five college girlfriends reuniting after 40 years chose Culinary Dropout in North Scottsdale as one of our first meals together in Phoenix, and what a perfect choice it was. From the moment we sat down, everything felt special. Every detail, from the forks to the napkins, was thoughtfully curated and truly elevated the experience.
The food was beyond amazing, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating from the moment we walked through the door. And then came the above and beyond. One member of our group is a die-hard Pepsi connoisseur, and when none was available, store manager Matt and executive team member Maura went out of their way to bring her not one, but two Pepsis. That’s when we knew this was a truly special place. Oh yes…the food. We ordered from nearly every section of the menu to experience the full range of offerings, and every single dish delivered. The whipped feta, crispy popcorn shrimp, soft pretzels, Brussels sprouts, chicken katsu, pepperoni pizza, steak frites, and beer-battered fish and chips were all outstanding. Our fan-favorite cocktail was the Evil Jungle Princess, absolutely to die for!
Lana, our server, is the crème de la crème of customer service. She catered to all our wishes, made fantastic food and drink recommendations, and even helped us capture a photo of our group enjoying our time together. The management, staff, food, environment—everything was exceptional!
We felt compelled to share this with the hope that corporate receives this review and the team is rewarded, because service like this truly deserves recognition. While we know we are not the only guests treated this way, it’s clear that Culinary Dropout works hard to ensure every guest has a memorable experience. We are lifelong fans and customers.
Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and extra special.
