We had heard good things about them but were saddened by the few choices. I literally wasn’t in the mood for the options but made do. We live 85 miles away and are usually at the Summit twice a month.
Easy to find parking as there were plenty of spaces, both handicap and non-handicap. The to-go parking places are up front and the handicap is out in the parking lot. A tad backwards for those who are disabled and wheelchair bound.
I ordered the steak French dip and it was good. We ordered a small charcuterie board, excellent. Fish and chips with fries were ok, nothing overboard, just fish and chips.
Nice and clean inside with a nice atmosphere for catching up with clients or friends. Plenty of tables were available on arrival with no wait. Clean restrooms were a plus as well.
I cannot give a five star and maybe four stars was too much. The limited menu really throws off the restaurant’s overall vibe with us.
The staff were all so fresh, young, and vibrant they really did an amazing job hiring! My waitress, Cayde, was super sweet and attentive, always checking in and making suggestions without being overbearing.
I ordered the steak frites, and it was absolutely perfect the steak was cooked to perfection, the fries were seasoned just right, and the salad balanced everything beautifully. For my drink, I had the zero-proof watermelon spritz, which was light, refreshing, and perfect for the warm outdoor patio setting.
I sat outside, and it was such a vibe warm, relaxing, and full of life. Everything about this place is well-executed, from the vision to the atmosphere. Even the name Culinary Dropout feels motivational, like they really took that concept and turned it into something special.
Definitely a 5-star experience all around!
In town for the Bama/LSU game and wanted to try something new and this was an excellent decision.
Built my own charcuterie board and it was on point. Delicious drinks from the bar, I got the abandoned Cadillac and fiancé got the sweater weather. Excellent choices suggested by our server from the drinks, starters, salads and entrees. Got the steak fritters as well and they were delicious, literally everything was though. Congratulations Bama on your win in football and this dinner experience especially with our waiter! Super sweet/cool guy! So, to whom this may concern, Conner was excellent. He made our 1st experience here fun and he was super knowledgeable of the menu, talked sports with us, desserts, about the restaurant and its locations. Excellent waiter! Btw, manager, get him a gift card to nothing bunt cakes for his superb service.
