Always a 5-star – 3rd time coming back!
We had the BEST Valentine’s Day (and birthday celebration!) at Culinary Dropout
Ava was amazing so sweet, attentive, and she truly made sure I had a great birthday. She went out of her way to make it feel special, and her energy made the whole night even better. Chris also stopped by to clear our table and share fun conversation, which made everything feel relaxed and welcoming.
The manager surprised me with complimentary shots and brought out monkey bread for my birthday SO fire! I had the steak frites (perfection), and my friend loved the 36-hour ribs and said the mac and cheese was the best he’s ever had. Marcel even dropped by to say hello and make sure everything was perfect.
If you want great food, fun hospitality, and a place that makes you feel like family, this is it!

I came here today [12-28-25] to celebrate my 45th birthday. The ambience is on point. It’s very spacious and open, or it can be intimate. The food was great, the menu wasn’t overwhelming it had just enough variety for even the pickiest eaters. The service was top-tier. Our server for a party of 15 was Mello! He was PHENOMENAL… don’t be surprised if he has his own place one day! We will be back to enjoy the items that we didn’t get to try.

This place served us not only a meal. It was a dining experience from the time we sat down until we left. (My food pics don’t do justice as I had bad lighting and didn’t want to use flash). This entire area was amazing and so nice, there were all kinds of restaurants in the Asford Lane area. We’d go back for sure! Highly recommend

Culinary Dropout is the kind of spot that makes dining feel like an experience instead of just a meal. The atmosphere is laid-back but buzzing with energy, the kind of place where comfort food gets elevated with bold flavors and playful twists. From shareable starters that instantly grab your attention, to hearty mains that balance indulgence and creativity, every dish feels crafted to surprise your taste buds. Pair it all with a craft cocktail or beer and you’ve got the perfect mix of flavor, fun, and foodie vibes worth savoring.

Amazing – even better if you get Joel as your waiter! He had the best recommendation for food. Atmosphere was very chill and not over crowded. The spicy shrimp rice cakes were incredible. Great place to stop in at

Very well distingushed in it’s area. Was a last resort of another resturant we planned to go to (told us we were too late), we got seated here immediately and was given service as soon as well got seated. Waiter was tenative, the food was different, but well portioned and tasted amazing. The only thing was the desert options could have had a more varity. Besides that, 9/10, will return again. Thanks for saving our night out!

Had a great experience at Culinary Dropout in Sandy Springs thanks to Myla and Milano. They were both super attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome without being overbearing. Service was quick, our drinks stayed full, and they checked in at just the right times.
I ordered the spicy rigatoni and it was really good — perfectly cooked pasta with a creamy sauce that had just the right amount of heat. You can tell they care about both the food and the guest experience here.
Overall, amazing service and a great meal. Myla and Milano absolutely made the visit better — would definitely come back and ask for their section again.

My boyfriend and I have quickly made Culinary Dropout a weekly date place! We love the brunch and dinner times and offerings. If you go, ask for Amberlou because she is truly the BEST! After talking with her about some things we liked, she recommended some menu items that immediately became our favorites! She’s so attentive and has the most positive personality that just makes you smile and be able to enjoy the amazing food while having a great dining experience! The soft pretzels and fondue are a must order if you are looking for any recommendations.

Our waitress Bianca gave the best recommendations from the brunch menu. If you’re looking for something sweet but not over doing it, you HAVE to try the banana bread French toast. The chicken biscuit was fluffy and crispy. Will definitely add this place to our faves!

Came here for a friend’s birthday, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the staff was great! I tried the MAC burger!!! OMG amazing! Better than the actual Big Mac lol , wasn’t really impressed with the Caesar salad. Willing to try the fried chicken the next time, I wish they had a wider selection of sides but would recommend visiting!
