Wow! The chef made me something based off a few questions he asked me. It was a lamb panini with a cabbage, corn, pickle, chickpea, tomato, carrot and rice. My husband got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with a pickled salad. French fries are beyond good. Our 19 month old devoured the chicken and fries. The Mac n cheese is good too. They had a cute placemat for her and whole milk. Super friendly and welcoming. Fun to try a local place while visiting family.

This restaurant is on a main road, it’s not fancy but nice and pleasant. There were fun sports on TV that added to a cheerful atmosphere.

Fresh and tasty food, it would have been better if it was served on real dishes instead of disposable. A variety of options for drinks including Vitamin Water, not only soda. Comfortable seating, clean restrooms.

The owners are very nice and hospitable, they offered me an outlet for my laptop and also the WiFi password, which was helpful.

Good value for the price 🙂

A very nice family owned business. Very good food made to order and other things you can pick out that’s already made. Specialty Russian treats and drinks you can get. Very good hot dogs!

Very friendly staff. Was looking for a place with Italian Beef after just coming back from a trip to Chicago (Al’s #1 incredible there). The Italian Beef at Culinary Delights is great! Asked for wet and got extra jus to dip. Definitely needed two meals to finish. The Chicago dog is also great!

This is a small restaurant that has good selection of food, and is family owned. The owner and his wife are great!! We lived in Chicago and believe me, Culinary Delights has the best Chicago hot dog ever!! Not to forget the Italian beef which is the best we’ve ever had. They also have a stuffed cabbage that reminds me of what my mom made when I was growing up….so good!!!!

Heard about this place from a fellow foodie and was curious to see how legit their Chicago fare was…was not disappointed! The dog is a Vienna Beef natural casing served on a poppy seed bun with all the fixins. Italian Beef was seemed to be from Vienna Beef as well…flavor was good and they offered both spicy and regular giardiniera. Fries (suggested by the owner) were delicious as well.

My girlfriend and I came here for the first time (saw it on phantom gourmet) and it was incredible. Chef Alex talked us through his menu and made recommendations and needless to say, we were blown away. The hot beef sandwiches were outstanding. French fries were the best I’ve ever had. Not only did he make and package the food for us, he brought it to our table and served us. If you’re in the market for some awesome food, look no further.

I am in love with this place. In. Love.
I stopped by because I am new to the area and have been searching for new, interesting non-chain restaurants. This is a real find.
The food is set up at the front of the restaurant. You look at all of the choices and then, depending on the size of the meal you want and how hungry you are, you let them know which items you want.
I’ve tried the borscht and the chicken dumpling soup. Both were fantastic. The chicken dumpling soup is unlike anything else I have tried. The broth is flavorful and golden. There is nothing in the broth but the fat dumplings. The dumplings are stuffed with seasoned ground chicken. My god, they are so good.
I have gotten the chopped green salad a few times because it’s really good. My favorite salad there so far is the marinated mushrooms. I could die.
For mains, I’ve had the stuffed cabbage and the sausage, both fantastic.
Prices are totally reasonable and the people who own the restaurant are lovely. I’d like to see if they are interested in adopting a fully grown woman. 😉
There’s a small, free parking lot right out front.
Absolutely recommend.

The owners were very welcoming and started chatting with my family right away and explained how their restaurant works and that you can customize anything you like. Great casual restaurant to bring your family and have a relaxed lunch. Alex really prides himself in making almost everything from scratch. The fries are super crispy and amazing, but it’s funny because he doesn’t like to market them since they aren’t made from scratch.

There are a lot of specials so go inside and see what all is up front in the display windows. There is also a small European market with some pantry goods.

The Chicago style Italian beef sandwich was very good (hi to all The Bear fans). Definitely get it with giardiniera. I also tried a lamb with pilaf rice that I also enjoyed. They had a non-alcoholic slavic kvass soda I tried that was really interesting and refreshing.

When I heard that there was a restaurant near Boston that had some Chicago style food, I knew I had to check it out. It’s the only restaurant in the area I’ve seen that makes their own Italian beef. It did NOT disappoint and I was quite impressed. This was the real deal.

The beef was perfectly thin and soaked in gravy, the sweet peppers were correctly cooked and seasoned just the way it’s done in Chicago, and the giardiniera (available in hot and mild)was the exact brand that you’d get from Portillo’s. They even brought out a little container of gravy for us to pour according to our preference. The roll itself could have been a bit larger, but overall it was incredibly delicious and even better than many Chicago restaurants I’ve been to. I also tried the Chicago dog and it was also exactly what you’d get from the best hot dog stands in Chicago. A steamed poppyseed bun, Vienna beef hot dog, sport peppers, neon green relish, and all the fixings. Perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside, well seasoned, and fresh.

There was plenty of free parking in the attached lot. The inside of the restaurant isn’t very large but there were plenty of seats available when we got there. The owners were so friendly and personable. After you order your food they will have you take a seat and have you pay after you’ve eaten. They have a unique selection of drinks and snacks available as they also function as a European market. There were unique sodas that I look forward to trying on future visits as well as bottled giardiniera if you want to take some home. I highly recommend stopping here for the high quality beef sandwiches and the incredible service. I will most definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu if I can bring myself to stray from my favorite Chicago dishes.
