Had a wonderful lunch with my daughter at Cuisine India. We opted for the lunch special, which had a nice sampler of various delicious foods, including some of the best butter chicken I’ve had. And for a reasonable price to boot! We will definitely be back!

Delicious! Went on a date night lol and of course I had to eat everything in sight because it was so good. There was food left over we were going to take home, and I ate it at the restaurant. Because it was so delicious. I only recommend if you want tasty Indian food that you can’t put down!

Absolutely bizarre & absurd lack of service!!! The young man who was (supposedly) hosting (?) waiting tables (?) was unprofessional, inattentive, flippant, and lazy.
Our food took an inordinate amount of time to arrive but when it did it was delivered by a lovely gracious woman. By the way, the women employees in the back of the restaurant seemed to be working diligently.
The young man never checked in to see how everything was or if we desired anything. We had needed another 2 sets of flatware since we were 4 and there were only 2 place settings. I was forced to get up and go to another table to retrieve the place settings as our “server/ waiter” was absent.
We ordered a chai for my 90 year old father prior to even ordering our meal yet it arrived WITH dinner and was placed nowhere near my father but on the other side of the condiments causing him to reach for it OVER the condiments, spilling hot chai on himself.
My sister asked how this young man’s father was, he replied, ” he is home watching a game or something he doesn’t come in on Saturdays unless he is covering me.”
If this is indeed the owner’s son his attitude and behaviour is even more appalling !
My sister ordered dessert for my father, we had a table full of empty plates and dishes yet this guy did not remove any of them, he just set the sweet among them. I finally asked him to please take the dirty dishes away and even then he did not do so immediately.
When I asked for our cheque he told me that I must come to the counter.
Had this been an exceptionally busy time in the restaurant we may have had a bit more patience but as it was not busy we certainly cannot understand the lack of service nor the very spacey and lackadaisical attitude.
To note: upon arrival near 5 p.m today / Saturday as a party of 4 which included my sister & parents, patrons of this restaurant for years, there was only a table of 4 present hence this was not a bustling, busy afternoon.
Sadly after our very lackluster experience tonight neither my parents, sister nor I will be returning or recommending Cuisine India !!
There are numerous options for Indian food in Salem now. They offer great service, food, overall experience, and appreciation of their guests.

delightful experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was amazing and delicious, with an authentic Indian taste that truly rejuvenated our taste buds. The veg platter was a fantastic start, and from there, every dish we ordered – from the flavorful chilli paneer to the rich and creamy dal makhni, the delectable allu gobhi, the mouthwatering malai kofta, and the scrumptious paneer tikka masala – was simply outstanding. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to dine at this wonderful place! Highly recommended!

Very clean, excellent service. Fast delivery. Indian tea w/milk was tasty. Rice very good. Naan with vegetables (#69) excellent. Chicken dish with vegetables (#39), my main course was disappointing. The chicken texture was rubbery, like boiled vs baked and the vegetables WERE FROM A FROZEN BAG OF MIXED VEGGIES! As an organic gardener whose main diet primarily consists of fresh, organic veggies, i was very disappointed in the dish. The sauce tasted like curried stew gravy. Don’t think it was cooked fresh for my dish. I would rather wait longer to eat, and be served fresh food. I will try this place again with friends who like Indian food. The prices were very reasonable. About $23 which includes the tip. The owner nor cashier said thank you, or asked me to come back soon. I looked at him to say good bye, he shifted his eyes away. Awkward.

After years patronizing Cuisine India we will never dine there again!!!! Our experience Saturday evening the 7th was such a ridiculous experience —with service or lack thereof — I could only compare it to a skit on SNL!

Tried this restaurant tonight and really enjoyed our time. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. We ordered a Tamdoori mixed grill, and butter chicken. We will be back for more butter chicken and also the garlic naan bread, yum. Overall very impressed with this great restaurant.

My girlfriend hates when i review but need to for this spot. It’s the best Indian food in town, not even close. Their garlic naan slaps, and the butter chicken/ chicken tikka masala will melt your taste buds no cap. They will prepare to any spice level you want. Even the whitest white people can find something, on god. Prices are very affordable. Couldn’t recommend them more.
