My first time visiting this restaurant. Drove from Birmingham to Montgomery for my niece and nephew birthday party. They had a private room reserved for about 35-40 of us. The wait staff was extremely helpful, very friendly and provided quick service for such a large group. Naturally, they included an 18% tip automatically. And they didn’t overcharge on the tip. It was actually 18% (some restaurants try to get away with stealing when gratuity is automatically included). The service was great so so I gave extra in addition to the gratuity.
Being plant-based, it’s quite challenging to eat out in Alabama. However, I was able to get a vegetarian burrito with no cheese and I added lettuce, pico de gallo, and guacamole. It was a decent serving. The staff was extremely helpful. Everyone else ordered as is and they enjoyed their meals as well.
Let me just add that the prices are outrageously generous, and they’re always running a special for instance, we got 10% off our meals because we brought in a church program (since it was Sunday)
I don’t drink alcohol but the prices again are insane lol. Hard to pass up if you like your spirits. Hahaa
All in all, I enjoyed my experience.

First time here. Finally we found a restaurant with excellent fajitas. Our waitress was Lissy. She was great. Give the Cucos Rita Swirl a try! We will definitely be back every week. I don’t really care for their salsa. They rough chop the veggies which makes it very inconsistent in texture/taste.

Good food and outstanding service! They hosted our school soccer team and made the night so special — they even set up karaoke and everyone had the best time. The patio is spacious and was reserved just for our group, which made it perfect. Highly recommend for team dinners and group events!

We drove from Prattville to right on the edge of Montgomery just to eat here. The food was delicious! The only thing was the salsa wasn’t as thick or good as usual. After we got our food the server never came back until we flagged him down.

A long time institution in Montgomery. I like this locations patio and bar. The drinks are great and they have some decent lunch specials. I think the food is ok and some items are better than others. Great chips and salsa. Wish they had more traditional options and things like agua frescas.

Cucos hosted our soccer team and they were so accommodating. The food was great! Sour cream enchiladas and cheese dip with ground beef added was so yummy. Great service as well.

Bathrooms were not clean and not well kept the food. The service was all mediocre and it was a small place. The prices were about average for Mexican food. Don’t think I’ll go back.

It’s basically your typical Tex-Mex. The tortilla chips are probably the best part. They are the thin ones and go good with salsa and cheese dip. I had a cheese enchilada and it was good. My date had the chicken fajitas and she thought they were decent. Beer was cold and the margaritas are good.
