Social Profile:

Our family began making pizza in Rochester, NY in 1932. Veltre Bakery was a neighborhood staple known for its hand crafted pizzas and baked goods. Today Cucinella’s continues that family tradition in Eastern NC by using original recipes and techniques that have been perfected over decades. We believe you’ll taste the difference.

I’ve given Cucinellas more chances than I probably should have, but at this point my girlfriends and I are officially done.

We regularly order pizza with a drizzle — something simple, clearly listed, and something we are charged extra for every single time. It’s not a complicated request. It’s not off-menu. It’s not unreasonable. Yet somehow, the drizzle never makes it onto the pizza.

This isn’t a one-time mistake. It’s a pattern.

We’ve politely requested it. We’ve double-checked the order. We’ve confirmed we’re being charged for it. And still — no drizzle. When we’ve asked about it, the response from staff has been dismissive, as if it’s an inconvenience rather than a paid add-on. At this point it genuinely feels like the staff just refuses to do it.

If you’re going to charge customers for a topping or finishing touch, it should actually be included. It’s frustrating to repeatedly pay extra for something that never arrives. It’s not about the drizzle itself — it’s about consistency, customer service, and basic attention to detail.

A pizza place should get the small things right. Especially when customers are paying for them.

We’ve tried to stay loyal. We’ve tried to overlook it. But after multiple disappointing experiences, we’re over it.

We’ve started ordering from Benny Vincenzo’s instead, and the difference is noticeable. When we request something there, we get it. No attitude. No missing add-ons. Just straightforward service and food made the way we ordered it.

Cucinellas has potential, but until they start honoring paid requests and treating customer orders seriously, we’ll be taking our pizza nights elsewhere.

I want to start this off by saying I am not one to complain because I am also in the food industry. The service I received tonight was unexplainable. It would be a totally different thing if they were making hourly. The workers here make well over 15 an hour and still beg for tips, but yet they still ensure your out before THEY CLOSE. My friends and I came
In prior to 10 and ordered, but they still took until at least 10:30 to provide us with our food. We had no complaints as we knew they were busy, but to our surprise one of the workers kept reminding us that they were closing soon. Little did we know they were closing at 11… but they tried to kick us out at 10:45. I honestly think this is ridiculous if you are working for tips because quite frankly I have stayed well over my shift to take care of my tables. Not to mention they make a good hourly and still ask to supplement with tips. Once we left one of the girls (pictured) shoved the pizza box out of my hands and was extremely rude. Multiple of the workers were screaming GET OUT even though it was prior to their closing time of 11:00 pm. I just thought this was extremely ridiculous because they aren’t working for hourly, they are working for tips and don’t even take care of the tables or wait courteously for them to leave. I have never experienced service like this ESPECIALLY when they are asking for additional tips (which I did add

The pepperoni and ranch pizza was a HIT with our son! Stopped in around 11:30A to grab a slice while on a walk and had a nice time. Only thing it’s missing is a pinball machine!

Really great spot. The vibe at Cucinella’s is super chill and the place just feels fun with the neon signs, good music, and TVs everywhere. The layout is simple and easy, and I liked that you just order at the counter and grab your food when your name is called.

The staff was really friendly and actually talked to me instead of just taking my order, which I appreciated. Prices were clear, and they have solid combo deals too.

Overall, the place feels really authentic and perfect for college students. I’ll definitely be back.

An amazing New York style pizzeria in downtown Greenville, NC. You can order by the slice or by the pie.

We ordered the classic Margherita and an Uncle Paulie’s (sausage, red pepper, hot honey, topped with fresh basil). The pizzas had an excellent sauce to cheese ratio. The toppings (vegetables) were fresh and the crust was top tier.

They have a couple of Carolina beers on tap as well as fountain drinks. Overall a great experience.

I came here for lunch and it was nice! I got my food to-go. I thought it was nice that you could order by the slice since there are a lot of people who come through downtown for a quick meal on their lunch break. I ordered two pepperoni slices and a drink, so it was the #2 combo. It was a reasonable price, and the slices are decently large. I waited a few minutes for them to put the slices in the oven. The pizza itself was good but it was incredibly greasy. That is probably to be expected, though. The person who took my order was very nice! The inside was nice and clean, and I would definitely eat inside next time I come around. I also appreciated that they have condiments like garlic powder and parmesan cheese available.

Incredible food, perfectly cooked. The buffalo grinder was delicious!! Lightly toasted and the perfect amount of ingredients. The Stromboli was a definite order again as well. The sauce was very good. Highly recommend for Italian food in Greenville.

The good Za is overshadowed by how rude the girl working was. She didn’t seem too interested in being there and gave my attitude when I asked for my garlic drizzle to be drizzled on my pizza?

I appreciate the guy working in the back for doing it for me since it’s on the menu that they offer it.

As good as it was I probably won’t be back to this location because this is the 3rd or 4th time I have gotten someone rude taking my order.

My family and I ate there yesterday for lunch while visiting ECU. The pizza was very good and the service was just fine. The #2, two slices and a drink for $9.00 isn’t a bad deal in today’s world. We will definitely be back if my daughter ends up at ECU.

Great establishment. Decided to pop in for a Tuesday treat and I thoroughly enjoyed my slice! The lady up front was very kind and welcoming and the gentleman in the back was efficient. Will be returning!
