Cucina Rustica means “Rustic Kitchen” in Italian and is inspired by the earthy interpretations of the beautiful Mediterranean countries. The old world charm, from the décor to the cuisine, captured within the walls of our rustic Italian restaurant located in Sedona Arizona. Chef Lisa Dahl was the first to bring fine-dining to the Village of Oak Creek, where she infused her passion for Tuscan and Umbrian countryside cuisine, devoting her talents to the love of Mediterranean Tapas and seafood plates. Expect to be delighted by an array of vegetarian and vegan specialties, classic pasta dishes, and perfectly grilled steaks on the menu.
Romantic, villa-style destination for Italian cuisine in multiple dining rooms & outdoor courtyard.

The tortolloni in lemon sauce, I never had tortolloni that good, the Doug super thin, very soft, with shaved veggies.
This is the place I’d plan for my anniversary, so beautiful and I’m getting hotel next to it next year for my running races, so I don’t need to drive round abouts. But even the drive to the restaurant is so scenic.
Lisa’s restaurants are so beautiful.
We dined here on Valentine’s Day and were really looking forward to a special experience. With Chef Lisa Dahl dining with friends on the same night, we expected the service and overall attention and service to reflect that level of presence. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Our server- Laura, informed us that the tortellini and pastas are imported but did not provide any additional information about where the food is sourced or the background of the dishes. For a restaurant at this price point, we expected more knowledgeable and engaging service, especially regarding menu details and ingredients.
Overall, the experience felt overpriced for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. We had higher expectations and left disappointed
I was completely wrong. There was no one seated in the outdoor area, and the inside of the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I walked up to the hostess stand and asked if they could accommodate a party of five. The hostess looked at me like I was the devil and said, “Oh no! I can’t accommodate you. I have no room for you or your family at all, but there’s a burger place up the street.”
I’m not sure if they were truly fully reserved, even though 90% of the restaurant was empty and it was only 6:00 p.m. or if it was because I have two kids, ages four and eight, and it didn’t fit the vibe. Or maybe I just didn’t match the crowd. I wasn’t even given the option to wait on standby.
All I can say is that I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. Not that it matters to them, but I will never set foot here again. I would advise anyone who has anything in common with us not to go here either you’re not welcome.
Excellent ambiance, good food, professional and friendly service.
Minutes late (and they had no patrons).
Cucina Rustica welcomed us with open arms and the food, atmosphere and service was terrific. Two of us purchased steaks (filet and ribeye) and both of us agreed the steak was better than most steakhouses. Overall hands down one of the best Italian places I have ever ate at!
