A scene taken out of the god father, the sauce does not disrespect you! Authentic and amazing Italian, you can tell the pasta is homemade. The seafood is super fresh and that sauce…… Just put it on everything! The pasta is superb, all the seafood was amazing, the bread is super fresh and soaks the juices up nicely, and the atmosphere and size of the place makes it great for a romantic dinner.

A quiet and sweet place. We had the steamed mussels, shrimp & arugula salad and the scaccetti (dumpling pasta stuffed with fontina cheese & prosciutto) topped with a meat sauce. Finished our meal with tiramisu. The shrimp in the salad was perfectly grilled and we loved the marinara sauce that the mussels came in. The pastas are made in house and I believe they have gluten free pasta. All in all, a lovely meal.

Came here on the StrEats of Philly food tour and so glad that they introduced us to this place. The spinach gnocchi with blush sauce is the best gnocchi I have ever had. I can’t put it into words but you MUST order the gnocchi. This place is BYOB so our group enjoyed a few bottles of red wine we brought with us. This place will be a must for me anytime I’m in Philly.

This place is BYOB (including wine). Not crowded for a weekend night. Just wasn’t impressed with the food. Had the Sacchetti with meat sauce. The pasta was doughy and tasted undercooked, and the meat sauce was cafeteria quality, bland, and thin. The Bruschetta presented well but was weak on taste. I found myself adding salt to my food, which I hardly ever do. It was also expensive. Without alcohol (because we brought our own), it was still over $200 for 3 of us. There are probably better options in Philly, but this was the only place we could find an open reservation for Italian food.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The decor is a bit outdated but it makes up for it in excellent service and delicious food.

Went with a group of colleagues for a work lunch. I had the spinach gnocchi which was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food. The desserts were pretty good too (we tried a bit of everything). They have a nice lunch menu with some regular dishes for half the price. The service was excellent and personal, and I plan on coming back. Thank you!

The food is Fresh and Excellent!! The Chef and Owner, Juana emerged from the kitchen to share the details of the Buffalo Mozzarella appetizer which was the highlight of an appetizer which also includes prosciutto, olives, chunks of provolone among other italian items. Juana was very nice!! Our dinners we great as well!! We’ll be back!!

This place was such a nice and personal experience! It is a family owned and operated restaurant, and everything down to the bread is homemade. The prices are reasonable and the food is so fresh. We also received complimentary wine (it’s BYOB but we did not bring our own due to poor planning on our part).

Very happy to find a great spot in the neighborhood. The gravy (sauce) was simple and delicate and all of the ingredients were fresh. There was a farm-to-table-esq feel, especially with the house made pasta and bread. We had an appetizer, 2 entrees and desert for under $100. I took half of my entree home. Was so focused on enjoying the food I didn’t pay much attention to the decor, but I did notice the fresh roses on the table which were a nice touch

I came here for lunch with my fiancé and it was absolutely amazing. We were blown away by the food and service. The lobster ravioli was probably one of the best pasta dishes I have EVER had. We can’t wait to come back and bring our friends and family.
